Tenshi's stared at the blinking arcade game. Her mind wasn't even on it. After seeing them again last night. almost brought tears to her eyes. More pain swelled up inside her. But why should she sulk over them, they just hurt her again. Her mind raced backwards to that day.

~Flashback~

She drug herself down the street. Her knees were tore up, scratches everywhere covered her body, a deep wound in her stomach allowed blood to pour down her clothes and body. No one was on the street thankfully.

"Everyone wants my star," she choked, clutching her star. She tried to find her friends, hoping they will help. As she was about to turn the corner, she heard her name.

"We must tell Tenshi today, she must know that our friendship with her is over," it was Yugi's voice.

"Hai," all of them replied. Her heart broke in two, not literally but it felt like it. She had been here since she was adopted, she did nothing to them, she wasn't around them most of the time. Her already frail body, became more frail. The last of her color drained, and she was on the verge of collapse.

She turned the corner, tears splashing the hot cement. No one made a move.

"Is this some kind of a game? Become friends with someone, then tear their heart in two. Ever since I came here, I knew you were holding something back! Is this it, why tell me now. Don't tell me, I'm leaving!" She used the last bit of energy to run, she ran away from the only life she had known.

She made it to the park, two blocks away. The only beings their was a man, and birds. She collapsed and her world went black.

She awoke to sand blowing against her face.

& The dessert? &

A shadow blocked the rays of the powerful sun. It was the guy from the park.

"My name is Marik. I see you been hurt, not physically but mentally. Yugi and his friends will pay. But you have to help me." His eyes were kind towards her, a side he never showed.

"...." she didn't answer him.

"Are you going help or not. Or are you going to sit there and do nothing!" she nodded slowly.

"Let's get revenge."

~End Flashback~

Tenshi's eyes focused back to the game, as GAME OVER flashed on the screen.

"Why do you always do this to me, its like your out to get me!" she yelled at the screen. Her face turned cherry red, as she realized everyone was looking at her. "Sorry."

She made her way to the counter, and ordered tea. She sipped it, letting the hot liquid run down her throat. She choked when she saw them.

& Oh, I don't want to see them now &

She laid down a dollar, and got up. Everyone was talking and they didn't see her. But Seto did, he stopped, he stared into her sapphire eyes. She turned away.

"Tenshi!" Yugi yelled. She put her hand up, not wanting to talk to them. Sadness filled her eyes again, Seto could see it..

The door opened, and a boy walked in. He had black hair, he wore black pants and a black shirt. But he still had them deep purple eyes.

* Marik * she asked through their mental link. Only Yami's and their Hikari's had mental links, but they bypassed that.

"Kage why are you here?" she asked. She was happy Marik was here, she didn't want to face her friends after three years. He walked towards her, dropping his arm around her shoulder.

"I came to see my best friend. Are we still taking that trip to Egypt?" He asked.

* What trip? *

"Yes, well we better get going," she said. He guided her out of the restaurant.

"Kaiba you okay?" Yami asked, walking up beside him.

"Why would it matter to you?" he snapped. He walked to his limo, trying to control the tears, that was threating to come down.

"Tenshi, you don't know the whole truth," Seto whispered.

There you go. I am done the third chapter but I have to type it on the computer first. So maybe another two days till it comes out. I'm planned this story to be five chapters.
