Story:
This story begins on a fateful day when Kagome Higurashi is celebrating her fifteenth birthday. And when she goes to check on her little brother, Sota, who is playing around the old well on the temple grounds. Kagome's little brother is afraid that Buyo, a fat family cat, who has fallen in to the well. Kagome bravely walks close to the dark and spook well that has been in her family's shed for centuries.
Suddenly Kagome was dragged down in to the well by pairs of arms!!! Soon, She finds herself face with a giant centipede thing (it look like a woman though) who keeps mentioning one strange jewel. Kagome try to push the monster away but tear one of her arms instead .Kagome was shocked. When she get out of the well she find out that she is standing in a strange forest. Then she notices a strange boy with dog-like ears pinned to a tree with an arrow, even the arrow is though his chest he look as he was in a deep sleep. Eventually Kagome finds her way to a nearby village where she meets an old lady with only one eye named Kaede.
The old woman was shocked by Kagome's look (because it look so much like her long dead sister Kikyo) She told the story of her sister 's death and the story of the strange dog boy that pinned on the tree( Inu-yasha), a half dog demon who once loved Kikyo, but betrayed her for the Shikon Jewel ( jewel of four souls, a mystical thing that can give a demon extraordinary power) But the jewel was vanished after cremated with Kikyo's body. Soon, the centipede woman come to attack Kagome again. During the battle, the monster wondered Kagome on the side and for a strange reason the Shikon Jewel spring seperate from her body! The demon swallow the jewel and try to run away with it.
Kagome get nothing to do except free Inu-Yasha from the tree, Inu-Yasha did a terrific job slaying the monster, but when he turn himself toward Kagome, she magically stop him with the word "SIT!" The peace didn't last long, many more monster come for the jewel of four souls. In the fight with a Crow demon the jewel got broken into many pieces by Kagome's arrow. There is nothing to be done unless Inu-Yasha and Kagome work together to collect the broken pieces. That's how the all the story began.......
During their Jouney to find the whole Shikon jewel they meet some great friend: Shippo, a small orphan fox spirit who likes to change form (normally a big cute pink thing), Miroku, a Buddhist monk with a weakness for women.... maybe it's because he's basically a pervert. ^ ^ Sango, a fighter from the village the Shikon jewel was first made, and many many enemies. Well I can not tell you all, but you can check out the comic or any thing your can get your hand on, I bet you will never regret to skim through them!!
