Rules

Homepage

The rules here are simple.

1. This is a STORY-BASED RPG, there is a D20 dice battle system, but if you aren't into dialogue and roleplaying, don't even join, we do more than battle here.

2. Don't be TOO rediculous when playing, a little humor is appreciated, but too much can take away from the game

3. I don't personally care if you use "foul" language in the rpg, but if you are cussing a player, not a character, take it elsewhere.

4. Try to keep "out of character" chat out of the chat rooms where an rp is taking place, i.m. the person for that. Refrain from personal conflict as well during table top, this is a game people, not a jury duty.

6. No one can tell another player what his character does, i.e., You cannot say" I hit you with a right cross to the face that sends you flying into a nearby mountain" You can hit them in the face and if the attack lands, THEY will decide if their character does anything, a certain level of maturity is required here to make the stories and battles more interesting.

7. If you don't like the game, DON'T PLAY IT. Do not come into the RPs and start putting down the game, also, do not put down the game in other RPGs, if you don't like it, don't play it, but don't ruin it for those who do.

And now, for a quick lesson in RPing, I know a lot of you will not need this, but I have noticed over the time that this and a few other of my RPGs have been online that some people do, so here we go...

Apply the next few things you read to the battle system and you will be fine

1)When you make an attack, please describe the attack you are making, I am not wanting Novel-style description, if you want to give one, by all means do so, but I do require something more than, "I hit him in the face"

2)When making your attack, do not state that your attack lands, no attack lands until the dice say so, when describing your attack, make sure you AIM it, not LAND it.

3)If an attack misses, the defender needs to describe how they avoided it. Apply this when the attacker's roll is off or when the defender's roll is on, it does not matter

4)If an atack lands and is not dodged/blocked/countered...the person being hit needs to make a post describing what the attack's affect on his is. For the sake of argument let us say the landed attack was a punch to the face, the person who was hit needs to post saying something along the lines of, "his head was turned to the side from the force of the attack" or "the punch slammed into the my mouth, forcing me to stumble back a few steps. I spit a small mouthful of blood and turn my attention back to you" This is really not all that difficult.

Thank You and Enjoy Playing......
