The Realms that exist are, The Realm of Earth, and The Demon Realm, The Makai. The two realms have differences and they greatly affect creatures, those differences are:
The Earth has days and nights, the sun rises and sets. The Makai does not have this, it is eternally night there...meaning creatures like Vampires and Werebeasts are more powerful here. The Earth has set laws that must be followed, you can not kill, steal, or harm another without intervention. The Makai has 3 Rulers who determine the laws for their own territories. One day, something may be illegal and the next day, it may not be. The only standing law in the Makai is this, when you enter a territory for the first time, you MUST seek out and pay respect to the Lord of that territory.
