Dhampyres are the offspring of a Vampire and a Human. They have all the powers of the vampire, but none of the weaknesses. They also have the desire to feed, not the need, but the desire, a Dhampyre can survive without feeding on blood, but fighting the urge can be utterly maddening. Many Dhampyre who have tried to resist the urge to feed, have ended up snapping and hurting the ones they love.
