Years ago when the Earth was still young there were those who sought to bring darkness to the world. A powerful sorceress called Orenda was born she was the first to take up the role as the Earth’s protector, however her efforts were in vain and she soon realized that she alone could not stand against the darkness.
She took this matter up with the most powerful of Egyptian kings and together they found an answer. Rumours of four special crystals containing the power of the Earth reached the ears of the sorceress and the kings. The two through fierce battles managed to obtain the crystals.
The crystals were given to the strongest of the king’s citizens, the first was a mischievous young lady named Mariasha. The Second a noble lady called Hathor. The third was a young priestess whose name was Nashwa. And lastly the Egyptian kings own daughter Suma.
Women were chose purely around the fact that most of the men in village were either working or already in the pharaohs army. The four became a great force known as a Sailor Senshi, each with there own special identity.
Mariasha became the Senshi of the planet itself.
Hathor became the Senshi of life, dictating who was reborn and why.
Nashwa became the Senshi of the sacred power of magic.
Suma became the Senshi of peace so that she could keep watch over her father’s kingdom.
Although these once powerful women are now gone it is said that there spirit and power is multiplied and reborn within every generation so that all the world and different times shall be protect under the name of the Magus Senshi.
