His retirement from the ISSP was after an incident that left him badly injured and requiered implants.There was when he rebuilded a second hand ship The Bebop and began his life as a bounty hunter.

She is the youngest crew member and sometimes may not look as smart as she is. Most of the time shes seen wondering around the Bebop doing childishly funny sounds and trowing Ain around wich she realy gets along the most. Ed is a realy funny and full of life character.

Ein makes it's apperience in session 2, where Spike takes him to live in the Bebop. Ein suffers the most in the ship they eat his food throw him around and sometimes even use him as a pillow. But Ein is smarter than he looks, sometimes may even look smarter than Ed, he was raised in a lab and because of it he is worth lots of money. Too bad the crew doesn't know that.
