Shippou is a fox demon, he is very young, and so he isn't nearly as stong as some other demons. His father was killed for his pelt by Hiten and Manten. His dad was the last living person (or demon) that Shippou had as family (aww ;-;). So he tags along with the Inuyasha and Kagome after the venge his fathers death. He really likes Kagome, almost like a mother/ big sister figure and wants her to be happy. He really doesn't get along well with Inuyasha, but encourages his feeling for Kagome.
