 This is one of the main evil villains, and is InuYasha's evil elder half-brother. Sesshoumaru rarely shows compassion, never changes expression much and is out to either kill InuYasha or steal his sword, Tesusaiga. Sesshomaru is full demon, unlike InuYasha. He, however evil he may seem, has a soft spot for a young girl he found in the woods, named Rin. Rin was maimed to death by wolves (Kouga's in actually) and Sesshomaru saved her by using his sword. Sesshomaru's sword, Tensaiga, has the ability to save people; swiping away death. It can revive 100 people with one swing, like how Tetsusaiga can kill 100 demons with one swing. Tensaiga cannot kill, but only revive. Sesshoumaru's attacks are somewhat like InuYasha's but he can change into a demon dog. (An expanded form which is much stronger.) Tensaiga means literally "heavenly life fang." Sesshoumaru is not happy with Tensaiga... Sesshomaru hired a sword smith named Kaijinbou, who was the apprentice of Toutousai. Toutousai was the guy who created Tetsaiga - Inuyasha's sword. Sesshomaru ordered Kaijinbou to create a sword, out of Naraku's detachment - Goshinki. Goshinki was killed by InuYasha, and was a physic troll who first released inner demon. Kaijinbou was famous for making evil swords, so he created one called "Toukijin" out of Goshinki's fang. It literally meaning "Fierce Fighting God." It took over Kaijinbou and in the end killed him. This sword, has somewhat of a mind of its own and wants to kill InuYasha(who doesn't?) and Sesshomaru claimed it as his own. |
