Kami

Kami is the guardian of Earth when we first enter the DBZ universe and Kami's counter-part is Piccolo. Piccolo and Kami are one being, while Kami is immortal and cannot be killed if Piccolo perishes, Kami does too as well as the dragon balls. Kami is the creator of the dragon balls, an ability he has no idea how he can do it until Piccolo vists Namek. Kami fuses with Piccolo in the Android Saga in the end to protect the Earth.
