This is my first faq. I will continue to improve. If you find this anywhere other then home Illuser's Home Page then you should switch. I also added the magic system in it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Classes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What you should at least have in your army is humans, that is for sure. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Soldiers Any Swords Soldiers are what you'd call a all around character but don't use em totally through or you'll die of magic. They are in your army at the start. They are a good starting class but later on they'll be replaced by mages, knights, valkriyes and etc........... Male or Female (living) Requirments: Hire or Persaude Ability: None Lev Up HP: +8 MP: +2 STR: +4 INT: +4 AGI: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ninja Katana Ninjas is a great beginning class, great movement range plus the ability to have room for a missle magic and one range attack makes it a good class. But this class, as fast as it is, has a great weakness becuase of it's low defense. So it's best to have the good armor on this class. Male of Female (living) Requirements Str 36 Agi 37 Ability: Shiriken Barrage, support spell Lev Up HP: +6 MP: +3 STR: +4 INT: +4 AGI: +6 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archer Bow Archers are well... they suck at frontal assualt. They're rear support for characters. They have no magic. First keep them defended or they'll die faster then worms on a hot day. Second get them on high ground or they'll be quite useless trying to shoot upward or not depends on you're party. They're movement ain't good it's ok. But adding a fist fight emblem will help he/she a lot. Male or Female (living) Requirements Agi 36 Ability: None Lev Up HP: +7 MP: +2 STR: +4 INT: +3 AGI: +6 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Knights Any sword except Katana Great class noting else to say. They're movement ain't so great but they're defense and attack are high and merciless. They attack with an iron fist archers, ninjas, wizards or any other class that has low defense falls to the power of these buckets of steel. They also gain a low level healing spell slot or the ability to use lighting bow. Plus there high hp makes em stronger but the movement hurts this class the most. They are good but try not to make this a neccisity in your army. Male or Female (living) Requiremets Str 51 Agi 53 Knight's Certificate emblem, (Neutral or Lawful) Ability: one low level heal spell HP: +8 MP: +3 STR:+5 INT: +3 AGI: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beast Tamer Whip Not the best class in the world but if you want beast and monsters this is your guy. It's best to get a whip on this guy but if you don't have it yet, a sword will do fine. They have a higher persude to beasts and power them up with in three panel of him. Have pretty high attack too. They are strong but like the ninja not very heavly armored. Male (living) Requirements Hp 142 Str 34 No more then one beast killed Ability: Higher persaude rate on beasts, power ups all friendly beasts 3 panels on him Lev Up HP: +6 MP: +2 STR: +5 INT: +3 AGI: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon Tamer Rapier One of the weirdest classes in the game excluding the undead. She is a beast tamer just with dragons. Her attack is ok and she's pretty useful if you use her correctly, but don't make this a vital character because she's not going to save you all the time. Female (living) Requirments: Hp 140 Mp 12 No more then one dragon killed Ability: Powers up all friendly dragons 3 panels away, one missle spell slot Lev Up HP: +6 MP: +3 STR: +4 INT: +4 AGI: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wizards Staff This class wizards are really good if they're protected. They're ability is to cast magic. Don't try using these guys to rush the enemy unless you want to have fun or something. Plus the as you know the mage classes have the lowest defense. Male or Female (living) Requirements Mp 16 Int 26 (Choatic or Neutral) Ability: 3 Attack Spells slots Lev Up HP: +5 MP: +6 STR: +3 INT: +6 AGI: +4 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Clerics Hammer or Staves She/He is a stronger healer then a knight. There attack like all other mage classes suck. But they can use low to meduim white magic to heal. Keep at least one in your party. They are great so you need one. Male of Female (living) Requirements Mp 18 Int 28 (Neutral or Lawful) Ability: 3 Healing or white attack spell slots Lev Up HP: +5 MP: +5 STR: +3 INT: +7 AGI: +4 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advanced Classes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sword Master Katanas or Swords This is one great class, high attack speed and they almost hit there targets 90% of the time. They have a ranged attack they also can block from the back. He also has room for one support spell. Great character got to have about 3 or 4 in your party. Male (living) Requirements Str 95 Agi 111 Book of Initiation Emblem Ability: Petaling Fury, Swallows Daze, suuport spell Lev Up HP: +6 MP: +3 STR: +6 INT: +3 AGI: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Valkyrie Spears These fine ladies are valkyries they can be support with there magic or they can be on the front lines fighting against a lot of things. There one of the most useful classes in the game. They have two slots for magic. They also add gauge support to friendly characters witin 3 panels. Female (living) Requirements Str 38 Int 41 Lancer Emblem Ability: 2 Support spell Slots, powers up humans in 2 panels of her Lev Up HP: +6 MP: +3 STR: +5 INT: +5 AGI: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragoons Spears and Broad Swords Another one of the great classes the Dragoon. The Dragoons are very cool characters. They get attack bonus against dragons but still they can knock other classes out too. Keep about one or two becuase you won't see dragons everywhere.Never doubt these guys just becuase they are at low levels. Some are good enough to fight the entire mission by themselves. Male (living) Requirements Hp 215 Str 109 Agi 94 Dragon Scale Embelm Abilty:One Missle Type Spell, Attack bonus vs Dragons Lev Up Hp: +7 Mp: +2 Str: +6 Int: +3 Agi: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sirens Fan These girls are one of the best spell casters for attack magic and they can summon they use there magic to blow away almost anything and that fan hurts like a *beep* if you train them right. But they don't hurt as much but there summons still kick *** Female (living) Requirements: Mp 60 Int 60 Philosopher's Stone Emblem Ability: 3 attack or summons spell slots Lev Up Hp: +5 Mp: +7 Str: +3 Int: +8 Agi: +3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Warlock Swords Well, finally a class made for magic and attack. They pack more a punch than a ninja. These guys swing there swords mercilessly as they fight as well as a knight. This is a great class. For front or back lines. But they aren't made for the back lines unless you want spells such as Haste, Teleport, Molten Blade or etc... Male (living) Requirements: Str 90 Mp 78 Int 76 The Pen and Sword Emblem Ability: Barren Soul and two support spells Lev Up Hp: +7 Mp: +5 Str: +5 Int: +5 Agi: +5 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Witch Fan, Staves This class doesn't kill but 2 support spells, decent attack strength and fasination I would say ok. This isn't great but it help to have one or two around. But you can get Deneb in this class (See F.A.Q. Section) Female (living) Requirements: Mp 38 Int 35 Vixen's Whisper Emblem Chotic or Neutral Ability:Fasincation, 2 Support spells or 2 Summons Lev Up HP: +5 MP: +6 STR: +3 INT: +5 AGI: +6 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Priest Staves The ultimate healer that still has a weak attack, well...... not really it's stronger then it used to be. They pack a punch (I don't think so!) and they are able to cast High White magic. Male and Female (living) Requirements: Mp 76 Int 96 Heavenly Spirit emblem (No more then 10 killed) Neutral or Lawful Ability: 3 white spell slots Lev Up HP: +6 MP: +6 STR: +4 INT: +6 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part Human Classes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ah, the Part Human classes or the demi humans as everyone calls them is one of the most useful characters, but unlike the human classes they don't change class. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hawkmen Mallet Ah, the classic Hawkmen. One of the most useful of the Part Human classes. They fly deal a lot of damage and there attack and movement range is unmatched. Demi Human Male Requirements: Persuade or Hire Ability: Thunder Arrow Lev Up HP: +7 SP: +2 STR: +6 INT: +3 AGI: +5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mermaid Spear Well, you got another part human here. They swing spears, sing songs and kick butt in water. But there pretty ok on land. Demi Human Female (Aquatic Living) Requirements: Persuade or Hire Ability: Lulluby, Cheer Lev Up HP: +5 SP: +5 STR: +4 INT: +5 AGI: +5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fairy Bows Now this is a joke. come'on what kind horror is this gonna cause the night of the deadly faries? What kind of fighting feathered creatures are these. But this enough joking since they can be a big help after they level up a bit. There hard to hit because of high agility and get pretty good abilities. Demi Human Female Requirements: Persuade or Hire Ability: Fairy's Kiss, Fairy's Embrace, Magic Missile Lev Up HP: +3 SP: +7 STR: +3 INT: +4 AGI: +8 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Giant None One slow but hard hitting guy. This is your regular low intellegence troll. Though i'm not even sure if this is a demi human. They use no weapons. This is a demi human I never had in my party but at I guess you can have em if you want. Demi Human Male Requirememts: Persaude or Hire Ability: Titans Crush Lev Up HP: +9 SP: +3 STR: +8 INT: +2 AGI: +3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gorgon Bows The half snake gorgon that probably reminds you of medusa. The snake hair and all. They have a stun spell and it's useful becuase of the large range. Demi Human Female (evil) Requirements: (Hire ?) Persaude Ability: Evil Eye Lev Up HP: +5 MP: +4 STR: +5 INT: +6 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gremlin Bows Think fairy just evil. They have some of the same moves as fairies but they have less attack and hp but they have high agility. Don't underestamate this class. Demi Human ??? (evil) Requirements: (Hire ?) Persaude Ability: Fairy's Kiss, Fairy Embrace Lev Up HP: +4 SP: +5 STR: +4 INT: +4 AGI: +7 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragons -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The basic dragon can be bought or persauded. They have weaknesses to dragoon but none the less they pack a punch. They have high attack but like the giant they are slow. When you hire them the element decides the type of dragon is will be. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon (fire) None They are the classic dragon. The fire breathing Bahamut. Well not yet. But they have fire breath and that will do. Dragon Requirement: Persaude or Hire Ability: Fire Breath Lev Up HP: +8 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +4 AGI: +3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon (Ice) None This are the evil Hydras. Well not yet Just imagine there fire breating dragons of ice Dragon Requirement: Persaude or Hire Ability: Ice Breath Lev Up HP: +8 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +4 AGI: +3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon (Thunder) None I got no more ideas. Most people say these are the strongest dragons of the basic dragon classes but i don't know everything. Dragon Requirement: Persaude or Hire Ability: Thunder Breath Lev Up HP: +8 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +4 AGI: +3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon (Earth) Have you ever heard of a poison dragon. Well here it is the dragon of earth but it ain't done yet my friend. Dragon Requiremets: Persaude or Hire Ability: Poison Breath Lev Up HP: +8 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +4 AGI: +3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Advanced Dragons -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon Vtra (fire) None Now we got the Dragon of breathing fire. The total classic dragon that flies and bring terror to those who oppose it hahahhahaha. There breath can confuse. Upgraded Dragon Requirements: Fire Dragon, HP 259, Str 130, Agi 69 Ability: Fire Breath Lev Up HP: +9 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +5 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon Naga (Water) None Well, not the most classic Hydra but it's close. They master in the water and fight ok on land they are the fighting dragons of water. There breath will put sleep on the target. Upgraded Dragon Requirements: Water Dragon, HP 259, Str 130, Agi 69 Ability: Cold Breath Lev Up HP: +9 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +5 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon Mushes (Thunder) None The unknown dragon of thunder. They're attack is stunning (if you know what i mean. They fight on the base move of 4 they kick butt my friend. And they will still Knock you down. Upgraded Dragon Requirements: Wind Dragon, HP 259, Str 130, Agi 69 Ability: Thunder Breath Lev Up HP: +9 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +5 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dragon Naga (Poison) None Think Naga of Water with poison breath. It's kinda weird to see a earth dragon specialize in water. Never the less they are a good dragon to have around. They have added effect of poison. Upgraded Dragon Requirements: Earth Dragon HP 259, Str 130, Agi 69 Ability: Poison Breath Lev Up HP: +9 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +5 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Undead Classes and Transcended Beings -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well these classes are basicly well, dead. They are highly useful have at least one. Undead are a pain in the ***. If you don't kill em with banish or exorcism then they come back with FULL HP. But if you defeat all of them before they regenerate then you win. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Angel Knight Rapier Think of it this way. An angel that can kill anything and kill things that are already dead. They stop undead or heal them. If you don't want to go through the trouble getting one, i can't blame you. They are one of the only being with only virtue element. Male or Female (Transcended or Transmigrated) Requirements - Hp 215, Mp 66, Str 89, Int 81, Agi 88 (Lawful) Archangel's Feather Ability: Poignant Melody, Banish Lev Up HP: +6 SP: +3 STR: +5 INT: +6 AGI: +6 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lich Staves The transcended dead thing with the higest defense in the game for some reason. As i've heard they are teleportable plus can use any magic other then summons or white spells. Bane Element Unknown (Transcended or Transmigrated) Requirements - Mp 118, Int 134, Must be Choatic with the ring of dead equipped plus die in battle not training. Ability: 3 spell slots for All spells except white and summons. Lev Up HP: +4 MP: +6 STR: +2 INT: +7 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Undead Solider Same weapons as soldiers The newest pains of the *** they don't have hp or high attack but they just keep coming back for more. They auto-regenerate which is ok but you can kill em with banish excorism and etc... Male or Female (Dead) Requirements - Cast necromancy on soldier that has died in battle no training Ability: Regenerate after defeated HP: +5 MP: +5 STR: +4 INT: +6 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ghost Staff Now weird little pests that also regenerate. They are pitiful. I hate anything that just can't stay dead. They can use spells but only 3 bane spells. Unknown (Transcended or Transmigrated) Requirements - Persaude Ability: Regenerate after defeated and 3 spell slot for bane spells Lev Up HP: +5 MP: +5 STR: +4 INT: +6 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Undead Dragon None They are the worst pest in the game. They are a pain plus they dish out some pretty high attack. They should be a ok addition to your army. Like the Undead soldier they auto- regenrate. Dragon (Dead) Requirements - Cast necromancy on dragon that has died in battle no training Ability: Rotten breath, regenrate after defeated. Lev Up HP: +8 SP: +4 STR: +8 INT: +4 AGI: +3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beast Classes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well beast classes are just dragons with different attacks and speed. Without the upgrading of classes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Griffins None They are ok on my opinion that have high move a skill, quite low speed but they are well cheap. They never attack directly plus when they gain sp they use windstorm. Beast (living) Requirments: Hire or Persaude Ability: Wind Storm Lev Up HP: +7 SP: +3 STR: +4 INT: +5 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cockatrices None You'll hate this class or you'll love it. They pertrify and they can fly. You know if you don't exterminate these guys early they're going to be a pain. They made decent beasts. Beast (living) Requirments: Hire or Persaude Ability: Petrifying Breath Lev Up HP: +8 SP: +3 STR: +4 INT: +4 AGI: +5 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Octopi None These are well octapusses. They are usaully found in water areas. They aren't to annoying but they're low movement makes them almost useless on land. Beast (Aquatic Living) Requirments: Hire or Persaude Ability: Strangling Tentacles Lev Up HP: +8 SP: +1 STR: +6 INT: +3 AGI: +2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cerberus None They are huge dog with the ability to throw out fire out of there mouth. They're attack and speed are among the highest of the beast classes. They're ability shoots out fire and gives a chance of sleep. Beast (living) Requirments: Hire Persaude Ability: Mezmerize Lev Up HP: +6 SP: +3 STR: +6 INT: +5 AGI: +4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Class Emblems -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the class emblem section. Q - How do you get Deneb? A - Hire a Choatic Fire Female and name her Deneb. Then Train her up until she meets the requirements (check human class section). Then change her class to a witch and she won't be a regular witch she'll be Deneb. Q - What are snapdragons? A - Snap Dragons are basically for making weapons. When you get one you can choose one character except the leader to become a sword. Depending on the element depends what the sword will be. Plus depending on the class of the character depends on what other effects are included on the sword. Also depending on the class or what your snapping depends on the swords stat. Such as Knights - Prevent Fear Priests - Prevent Instant death SwordMaster - Instant Death Valkryies - Mental Gauge within 3 panels is increased Dragoons - Power Up vs Dragons Beast Tamer - Mental Gauge of all beast within 3 panels is increased Dragon Tamer - Mental Gauge of all dragons within 3 panels is increasd Lich - undead within 3 panels gain 1 mental gauge bonus Angel Knight - 1 mental bonus to all allies within 3 panels Fairy - Raises Luck Gorgan - prevents petrification Q - Where do you find snapdragons? A - There are only 4 in the game so choose wisely. One is in the upper top left of Belleza. You must burn away the plains. Second is Sotavento near the top right corner. Not on it just on one of the plains. Q - What how does elements affect the character? A - This should be a pretty easy question. Fire - Higher Attack more chance to be choatic (Confusion) Water - Better healers, ok at most everything more chance for Lawful (Sleep) Wind - The hit rate is higher and they are faster, More Chance of Neutral (Stun) Earth - Higher Defense, More chance of Neutral (Poison) Virtue - High attack vs Bane, always Lawful(Banish) Bane - High attack vs Virtue, always choatic (Regenerate) Q - How do you get a Angel Knight? A - Hire any lawful soldier. Then wait till they meet requirments. (check class for reference) Then kill them during battle or training and use altar of reserrection. They'll Get Arch Angel's Feather. Then go in to a battle (not training) and kill that character. Then you'll have a very small chance of him or her becoming a angel knight. Q - What are the strongest weapons in the game? A - This depends on class but most basically Snap Dragons - (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Virtue, Bane) Depending on element of person going to be snapped plus adds stat bonuses to the character who equips it. Longicolnis - (Virtue) Strongest Spear in Game Q - Which classes can use which spells? A - Cleric - All white magic except high level ones (Such as Reserruction and etc...) Priest - All white magic Knight - Low level white spells Sword Master - Any support spell WarLock - Support Spells Witch - Support Spells and Summons Sirens - Area of Affect spells, Missle Types Wizard - Area of Affect and Missle Types Ghost - Any Black Magic Dragoon - Any Missle Type Dragon Tamer - Any Missle Types Special Classes Like The ones Ricktor, Cybil, Elrik, Euphine have vary. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spells -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the spells section added well because i felt like it.
