Appearance: Yume doesn’t really stand out that much. She wears the uniform from her old high school, which consists of a white short-sleeved polo shirt, a red ribbon tied under the color; a blue plaid skirt; white knee-socks; brown penny loafers; and a cream sleeveless sweater over the shirt. Her waist-length hair is tied up into a ponytail, held with a red ribbon.

 

Sure, Yume wears other stuff, but that’s her most common outfit. Her X-Men outfit is like the ones in the movie, well the female ones, that is.

 

 

Personality: Yume is the quiet type, never saying anything until provoked, and when she does, it's very blunt and to the point. She's the type of person you don't want to take with you to meet the Mafia. She tells only the truth, and if you're trying to lie with her around, forget it

 

 

Past:  Half-Japanese, Half-American, Yume was born in Tokyo, Japan to a middle-class business family. She was your average Japanese school girl (in the anime sense, that is); she wore a school uniform (complete with a short skirt), she had some friends (a small group of girls, some later identified as mutants), she got decent grades (sort of. She failed History horribly, as she always fell asleep), and she was picked on by your average bullies.

Well, those bullies didn't know what was coming to them. Yume had never really been interested in revenge, but when she nearly cracked her head open thanks to some snob who pushed her down the stairs, it was time to take action. That night, Yume purchased a voodoo kit from a bookstore, the kit actually not real, but with Yume's hidden powers of manipulation, she made that doll look as close to the girl as possible. Enraged, Yume took a knife from the kitchen and started stabbing the doll over and over.

Little did she know that in a penthouse in the upper-class district, a girl was screaming in pain.

The next day, Yume learned that the girl had died. This was technically not Yume's intention, and now deeply afraid, especially since she was the number one suspect, she ran away, and wound up in America. She is now a part of the X-Men, along with her friends Evina Xavier and Shanen Ainsworth, known also as Ghost and Shadowbane.
