Appearance: Chiyobug and Chiyokaiketsu are fraternal twins; the platinum haired one is a girl, while the purple haired one is a boy. To lighten up some of the confusion with their names, Chiyobug goes by either her full name or just “Chiyo”, while Chiyokaiketsu simply goes by “Kaiketsu.” Chiyo’s platinum hair reaches down to her knees and is always kept up in a high ponytail. The ponytail is held with a lavender ribbon, the ends of the ribbons trailing down to her knees. On her right cheek, the kanji for “gin” or “silver” is outlined in silver.

Chiyo wears a lavender sleeveless trench coat, floor-length, with a medium sized black belt at the waist, and a smaller one over her chest. The trench coat splits just below the waist, with the tails trailing downwards. Chiyo has a silver cat’s tail just barely hidden underneath the coat. It is unknown whether the tail is a decoration or not, but if it is, Chiyo is using some pretty clever tricks to make it twitch when she’s mad.

Underneath the trench coat, she wears a black tube top, worn a bit too low, and black short shorts. She wears black knee high boots, which seem to be made of a vinyl-type material, as they always appear to be brand new. Her katana is kept in a black, wooden, tube-shaped, two-piece case, attached to the back of the belt on her chest. On either side of the case is a dragoon wing decoration. Both wings are a dark purple in color.

On both arms, up near the shoulders, Chiyo wears black armbands. On her left arm, a lavender ribbon is wrapped around the arm in a crisscross fashion, starting at the elbow and reaching up to just below the arm cuff. The ends of the ribbon trail down to her wrist. On the right arm, Chiyo wears a black elbow-length glove, made out of a very rough and bulky material, secured at the elbow and wrist with two black belts.

All of the belts are made of leather, with black metal buckles. They range in length and width.

Kaiketsu resembles his sister in which his platinum streaked purple hair reaches down to his knees, and is left down. His hair is straight, and is evenly cut. He wears a long-sleeved silver-gray trench coat, the collar turned up, over a black turtleneck and black pants, which are tucked into black knee-high boots. Black belts secure the trench coat around the waist and wrists, and two more belts, these a silver-gray color, secure the boots mid-thigh. Unlike Chiyo’s boots, which are made from leather, and are made of a vinyl-type material, Kaiketsu’s boots are made from leather, and appear to have gone through some bad days, as there are numerous scratches, tears, and scuff marks. He wears black leather gloves that do not go past 3 inches past the wrist. These are frequently replaced. Hidden underneath the coat is a black cat’s tail.

Kaiketsu also uses a katana, and his is kept in a silver-grey wooden case, similar to Chiyo’s, strapped to his back with a black leather belt, slung over his left shoulder. He too has two dragoon wing decorations on his back, sewn to the trench coat, which are silver-gray in color.

Like Chiyo, Kaiketsu’s belts are all leather, have metal buckles matching the belt color, and range in size.

On Kaiketsu’s left cheek, the kanji for “kin,” or “gold,” is outlined in gold.

Both have fair complexions, with the occasional scar and scratch here and there. They both have lean figures, and are very quick and agile. In their cat forms, Chiyo is a silver cat, and Kaiketsu a black cat. They wear matching lavender collars with either a silver tag with “kin” engraved in gold (Kaiketsu) or a gold tag with “gin” engraved in silver (Chiyo). Their eye color remains the same.

Personality Caption: Twins usually look alike and act alike, and that is true for these two, to a certain extent. They are both willing to please people, but at different prices. Chiyo demands money, while her brother demands materials for forging weapons. Both are very secretive, Chiyo more than Kaiketsu, and both have a tendency to be very rude and brash. As for their social life, the two only speak to those they must speak to, and one twin will always consult the other when it comes to decision-making, and vice-versa.

Chiyo acts a bit like a cat, vain and self-centered. Kaiketsu is more reserved, and the more reasonable one.

Both hold great respect for whoever leads them, but will always abandon their leader if his or her judgment is wrong.

Chiyo and Kaiketsu share a telepathic bond. If Chiyo is hurt, then Kaiketsu will feel pain, and vice-versa. They are very protective of one another, and will hurt anyone that messes with them. The twins prefer to stay together, and will rarely be separated. If they ever are, they will always stay in touch with each other through telepathy. Even their DS senses this, and will not let one sibling transform if the other is not close by.

When the two change into cats, curiosity will take over from time to time, and the two will be frequently underfoot. Of course, along with curiosity comes temperamental-ness, and if you get on either of these cats’s bad side, you’ll be going home with numerous scratches and bite marks. In their feline forms, the twins can communicate by telepathy, or if they wish, meowing.

Past: In an ancient village, forgotten by time, Chiyo and Kaiketsu were born at the start of the new millennium, according to the village, Feliania’s, calendar, which was different from the rest of the world. Twins were a rarity in Feliania, and fraternal twins were even more rare. However, twins, especially fraternal twins, were considered evil, and it had always been prophesized that is would be fraternal twins born at the start of a new millennium would bring about the destruction of the village and its people. At the age of 3, the twins were separated from their parents, whom were murdered, and had the kanji for “kin” and “gin”, the names of two legendary demons that had plagued the village in ancient times, branded on their cheeks. The twins were pitied by a young mother living in the outskirts of the village, and taken in to be raised alongside her two young children, both girls. To make the scars from the branding less intimidating, she applied gold and silver paint to the kanji marks. The paint remains to this date.

Chiyo and Kaiketsu were generally ignored by the woman’s daughters, who wanted nothing to do with “the demon children.” Despite this, the young mother continued to love and nurture all four children, and it remained this way for 10 years.

At the start of the tenth year, when the twins were 13, a deadly plague, later known as the Lokai Plague, wiped through the village, infecting many people, all of which died horrible and painful deaths. It soon became known that the twins were still living within the village, and the villagers set out to find them, convinced that the very fact that the twins were still alive brought forth the plague. Armed with torches and axes, the villagers arrived at the house of the woman who had taken in the twins 10 years ago.

The woman, realizing what would happen in the twins were found, disguised them in her daughters’ clothing, and through the use of a secret underground passage, helped the twins to escape. She was later found, and along with her daughters, murdered as they burned alive when the villagers set a flame to the house.

The twins, now out on their own, knew that if they wanted to survive, they needed to make use of everything around them. Traveling through a variety of areas ranging from mountains to forests, the twins worked together to dispel any threat that came their way. Using materials gathered from defeated enemies, they forged their own katanas, and made the cases, too. It was also at this time that the twins learned that they could shape-shift into cats; Chiyo could turn into a silver cat, and Kaiketsu into a black cat. They used this to their advantage as they returned to Feliania just once to see what had become of the village they grew up in.

Tragically, the plague had claimed the lives of everyone in the village, not including the young woman who had taken the twins in, and her two daughters, who were killed in the house fire. Somewhat saddened, the twins left, never to return.

The twins continued to travel, never staying in one place for too long, until about a year later, when they saw the remains of a recent battle. Sifting through the equipment of the fallen, the two had a chance encounter with Alpha, the leader of the Kyphons. Calmly, he explained that these remains were that of some of his troops, and that the Protectors of Endiness, along with Dragon Angels, had caused this. Chiyo and Kaiketsu were not fazed by this response, but nevertheless, felt a strong aura radiating from the man. They recognized him as a powerful being, and decided that they would join the Kyphons to be under his command. They are within the related forces, and mainly do odd jobs, whatever nobody else is available to do at the moment.

Hobbies:

Serving under Alpha- The twins are fiercely loyal to whoever leads them, and since Alpha is their current leader, the twins will follow his every command, except if it is for the two to separate.

Shape shifting- The twins used to only roam about as cats when they needed to, but given the vastness of Kyphon HQ, and all of the places a cat could get into, curiosity takes over, and you will frequently find two cats underfoot. At least the mouse population is under control.

Stalking Faye- The two seem to have taken a liking towards Faye, when they are in their cat form, that is, and can sometimes be found stalking the rabbit demi-human. Not much scares Faye, except for these two. Probably has something to do with the fact that cats will eat rabbits…

Visiting Feliania- Even though the village has long been deserted; it’s inhabitants deceased, Chiyo and Kaiketsu will still visit the place they grew up in, mainly the house of the woman who had taken care of them for 10 years.

Dragoon Spirit: As it turned out, the two demons from ancient times, Kin and Gin, were not demons at all, but rather, they were dragons, twin dragons at that, which had never happened before. True to their names, Kin was a brilliant gold color, while Gin was a stunning silver color. They shared powers, and were always together, just like Chiyo and Kaiketsu. What’s even more interesting is that Gin was a female while Kin was a male.

During the Dragon Campaign, the twin dragons, their normal habitat disturbed by the numerous battling, roamed Endiness and the surrounding areas in search of a new home. They were attracted to the small village of Feliania, mainly due in part to its mountainous terrain, which was home to many caves and caverns, not visible to the human eye. The villagers were dearly afraid of the dragons, and tried unsuccessfully numerous times to defeat the dragons. Fed up, the dragons left, heading for the Death Frontier. They remained undisturbed for many millennia until the day Chiyo and Kaiketsu happened to come across this rare find. Knowing very well that the dragons could be used for both food and armor, the twins killed Kin and Gin. They did feel some regret towards this, but they knew that they killed the dragons for a good reason.

While harvesting the meat and hide, Chiyo gave out a yelp of surprise as the dragon she had just killed disappeared. She blinked a few times when she noticed what had been left behind; a platinum colored gem, a DS. Kaiketsu acted much in the same manner as his sister when the dragon Kin disappeared as well, leaving an identical DS. These Dragoon Spirits were the Platinum Twin Star Dragoon Spirit, and what was even more remarkable was that the two DS acted as one. They accepted the twins as their master, and gave the twins the ability to transform into dragoons, with shared powers, and they are able to summon both dragons. Chiyo’s armor resembles Shana’s, only less bulkier, and is and Kaiketsu’s armor resembles Albert’s only less bulkier. Their armor is platinum in color.

When transforming, neither twin can do an individual transformation. They can only transform together, and only when the other is around.

Gin, the silver dragon, uses darkness-based attacks, while Kin, the gold dragon, uses light-based attacks. The attacks can be combined to deal extensive damage.

Attacks:

Twin Star- Chiyo and Kaiketsu cross their katanas together, and their blades begin to glow, as well as the symbols on their cheeks. Their eyes are closed at first, but when Chiyo says “twin”, Kaiketsu says “star”, and at that point, their eyes snap open, and the two point their katanas at the enemy as a big burst of energy emerges from the blades. As this burst of energy heads for the enemy, the dragons Kin and Gin appear and add their own powers to the mix. Kills all enemies.

Golden Dragon Kin- Kaiketsu raises his katana in the air as he calls upon his dragon, Kin. Kin then appears and shoots a medium power energy blast at the enemy. Does 50% light-based damage.

Silvery Dragon Gin- Similar to Kaiketsu’s attack, Chiyo raises her own katana in the air as she calls upon Kin’s twin, Gin. Gin appears and shoots a medium-sized energy blast at the enemy. Does 50% darkness-based damage.

Kin’s Healing Light- Kaiketsu summons Kin, who then flies overhead and casts healing magic on either him or Chiyo. Complete recovery, plus all status effects are removed.

Gin’s Destructive Darkness- Chiyo summons Gin, who darkens the battlefield to the point where the enemy cannot see. Gin will then fly at the enemy and attack. Destroys all minor enemies and does 75% darkness-based damage.

Catnip- This is one very strange attack. After first receiving their Dragoon Spirits, Chiyo and Kaiketsu wondered as to whether they would still be able to shape-shift. Turns out they can, and it looks very bizarre, too; cats with Dragoon wings and armor. The attack is no laughing matter, though, as the twins will shape shift into cats and cause Bewitchment to all enemies.

Dark Healing- Chiyo will drain her own HP to cast healing magic on her brother or any other allies. This attack can revive KO’d allies, as well, at the risk of KO’ing Chiyo. And if that happens…

Vendetta- This attack will only work if Chiyo has been KO’d. The exact moment Chiyo looses all of her HP, Kaiketsu will go into a rage mode of sorts, attacking all enemies, and dealing 100% light-based damage to all enemies.
