-Go Godzilla Go!- Song lyrics:

It's a dinosaur
Thousand feet or more
Bigger than ya fear
Listen, can't you hear
It's comin' closer

You cannot run in any direction
No place to hide ain't got no protection
It can be sorrow, blood, and destruction
But it can give you incredible emotion

Go godzilla go
Jurassic lizard superstar hero
Go godzilla go
For the people
For the planet

Bad in outer space
Mining human race
Nuclear warrior
Come on in for more
We feel in trouble

You cannot run in any direction
No place to hide ain't got no protection
It can be sorrow, blood, and destruction
But it can give you incredible emotion

Go godzilla go
Jurassic lizard superstar hero
Go godzilla go
For the people
For the planet

History

Godzilla (1954)

Height: 50 meters

Mass: 20,000 metric tons

Film Appearances: Godzilla, King of the Monsters

Powers: Godzilla possesses a hyper-regeneration power, allowing him to heal even grievous wounds quite quickly. Godzilla also has a devastating ray of atomic energy which he can spew from his mouth. The long tail of the monster is also very powerful and quite capable of battering buildings into rubble.

The original Godzilla was a walking juggernaut, crushing anything unfortunate enough to get in his way. This single-minded destruction characterizes the almost un-thinking brute in his attacks on Tokyo. Godzilla was largely immune to the effects of cannons, missiles and even massive amounts of electricity. He appeared mildly annoyed by jet fighters, and was even driven off by them, but more from irritation than any actual damage dealt to him by his attackers

The atomic and hydrogen bomb tests in the South Pacific have a fallout more devastating than radiation. A slumbering dinosaur is awakened and mutated by the tests. First appearing in the vicinity of Odo Island, the huge monster is unstoppable, surviving navy attempts to destroy him. Godzilla soon appears in Tokyo itself, completely destroying the great city. Only the horrible Oxygen Destroyer is capable of killing the awesome monster, the weapon's inventor, Dr. Serizawa at last agreeing to the use of the creation. All life in the waters of Tokyo Bay perishes along with Godzilla as Dr. Serizawa unleashes the awesome weapon's fury against the monster. In the end, not even Godzilla's skeleton is left by the all-consuming Oxygen Destroyer.

Godzilla (GMK)

Height: 60 meters

Mass: 30,000 metric tons

Film Appearances: Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giants Monsters All-Out Attack

Powers: Godzilla is nearly indestructible. His tough scaly hide is almost impenetrable and even such attacks as do harm him are quickly negated by his fast-acting regenerative abilities. Indeed, even reduced to only his heart, the monster lives on. Godzilla is equally at home on land or beneath the sea, being able to swim quite rapidly and breathe underwater. Godzilla is able to deliver terrible damage with his claws and fangs and his massive tail can be used as a bludgeon and to batter away back-attacking foes. Godzilla's most terrible weapon, however, is his withering atomic breath attack, a hellish stream of radioactive heat which detonates with the horrible intensity of a nuclear explosion

Godzilla is a lumbering, unstoppable juggernaut. He constantly attacks, never retreats and offers no quarter for his enemies, or, indeed, anything that lives. He displays an aggressiveness that is unmatched and his battle tactics are focused upon brutality and ferocity, seeking to destroy his adversary as quickly as possible in order to march onward and claim still more victims. This Godzilla is Death itself, and like death, cannot be overcome or reasoned with, only avoided for as long as possible

A horrible beast that first appeared in 1954, seemingly the result of H-Bomb tests in the South Pacific. The monster soon attacked Tokyo, but was destroyed by the oxygen destroyer. Or so it was assumed, although no remains of the monster could be found to verify his death. In 2002, with the destruction of a US Navy nuclear submarine, the spectre of Godzilla once again loomed over Japan. Even as the Japanese prepared for his possible return, Godzilla attacked Odo Island, the place where years before he had first been discovered. Motivated by the unquiet souls of the millions of war dead from the Pacific theatre of WWII, Godzilla seeks to avenge those dead on a Japan that has forgotten its past and the horrors of war. The unstoppable beast appears in Hakone, where he is attacked by one of the Sacred Beasts of Yamato, the god of land, Baragon. After killing the reptilian monster, Godzilla proceeded to Tokyo itself. In Tokyo, Godzilla was confronted by the combined might of the other guardians of Yamato, King Ghidorah and Mothra, as well as the JSDF. Although he managed to destroy both King Ghidorah and Mothra, Godzilla was himself undone by the valiant efforts of Lt General Tachibana. The general piloted a submersible down Godzilla's throat, then burrowed his way back out of the monster's body. The resulting tear in Godzilla's body caused his radioactive energies to run rampant when next he sought to employ his atomic breath, causing the monster to explode. However, even this was not enough to destroy Godzilla, as his disembodied heart continued to beat at the bottom of Tokyo Bay, slowly regenerating a new body.

Godzilla (GXM)

Height: 55 meters

Mass: 20,500 metric tons

Debut Film: Godzilla X Megaguirus

Powers: Godzilla is capable of generating a blast of intense heat from his mouth, at the same time superheating his dorsal plates. This blast is quite devastating and highly incendiary, igniting any flammable substance instantly. Godzilla's long tail is semi-prehensile, capable of wrapping around objects and gripping them. His dorsal spines are also very sharp, able to slice through flesh and tough chitin. The monster is very resilient to injury and heals quite quickly. He is also amazingly agile, able to dodge attacks and even leap great distances to surprise his enemies.

Product of an H-bomb test, Godzilla emerged from the sea and attacked Tokyo in 1954. He was not seen again until 1966, when he attacked Japan's first nuclear power plant in Tokaimura. The monster was not again seen for another 30 years. He returned to attack the experimental plasma power plant in Osaka in 1996. Realizing that Godzilla was being drawn to these high energy sources, the Japanese forbade any further enterprises to develop such energy sources. Godzilla next appeared in 2001, having attacked the first Meganura to emerge. The Japanese G-Grasper unit lured Godzilla to Kiganjima Island to position him for an attack from the black-hole projecting satellite weapon Dimension Tide. The operation was interrupted, however, by the sudden attack of a swarm of Meganura. After Godzilla fended off the swarm, the Dimension Tide was indeed fired, but the monster was able to dodge and withstand the blast. He set off for Tokyo, drawn to the secret plasma facility there. Godzilla fought and defeated Megaguirus on the outskirts of Tokyo, then proceeded to destroy the power plant. Before he could again escape to sea, the Dimension Tide was fired one last time. Seemingly successful in absorbing and erasing Godzilla, weeks later it was learned that all the weapon had accomplished was to bury the monster under the city.

Godzilla (Heisei)

Height: 80 meters

Mass: 50,000 metric tons

Debut Film: Godzilla 1985

Other Film Appearances: Godzilla vs. Biollante

Powers: Godzilla possesses an incredible regenerative factor within his cells, enabling him to heal even the most hideous wounds in a short amount of time. He can also fire a powerful atomic ray from his mouth. The only weaknesses Godzilla seems to have are cadmium and Anti-Nuclear Bacteria, both of which affect his atomic structure, making him weak, even to the point of entering a coma-like state.

Godzilla is a walking earthquake or typhoon. He barrels through any obstacle in his path, attacking mercilessly and holding back nothing. Godzilla will play his awesome atomic ray against his foes, blasting them apart in a ferocious display of power. Nor will Godzilla be content to sit back and attack from a distance. Even as his atomic ray tears apart his enemy, Godzilla still advances, more than willing to sink his claws and teeth into his devastated foe.

Rising from the Bering sea thirty years after the attack on Tokyo in 1954, a second, even more powerful Godzilla appears. This Godzilla soon begins attacking nuclear power plants in Japan, feeding off of the radiation. It is not long, however, before the monster follows in his predecessor's footsteps, launching a merciless attack on Tokyo itself. Momentarily defeated by the cadmium missiles of the Super X flying battle tank, Godzilla was revived by the atmospheric detonation of a Soviet nuclear missile sent to destroy him. Godzilla made short work of the crippled Super X, but was unable to ward off the effects of Professor Hayashida's sonic transmitter, which at last lured the monster to the volcanic Mt. Mihara. Explosives at the rim of the volcano toppled Godzilla into the molten slag of the volcano's cauldron. For many years, Godzilla remain trapped within Mt. Mihara. However, terrorists in the employ of the ruthless American BioMajor Corporation freed the monster with a second explosion. Godzilla at once set out for Lake Ashino, where he battled his clone, the monster Biollante, seemingly killing the plant creature. Godzilla's rampage continued to Osaka, destroying the Super X-2. In Osaka, ANB is fired into Godzilla's body, but the reptile's body temperature is too low to allow the bacteria to work. The JSDF lures Godzilla to the Wakasa plain where they have set up the awesome Thunder Control System. A series of electrical microwave mines, it is hoped that they will be able to raise Godzilla's temperature enough to let the ANB take effect. At the same time, spores from Biollante rain down, forming an even more hideous plant-monster. Biollante attacks Godzilla in a vicious and terrible conflict, but Godzilla at last seemingly destroys her again with a point-blank blast of his atomic fire. As Biollante disintegrates once more, Godzilla staggers off, the ANB finally taking effect. The monster retreats into the Pacific, hopefully never to be seen again

Godzilla (Heisei 2)

Height: 100 meters

Mass: 60,000 metric tons

Debut Film: Godzilla vs King Ghidora

Other Film Appearances: Godzilla and Mothra: the Battle for Earth, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla 2, Godzilla vs Space Godzilla, Godzilla vs Destoroyah

Powers: Created by the fury of modern nuclear weapons due to a sunken Soviet submarine, this Godzilla is much larger and more powerful than any of his other incarnations. Like other Godzillas, this Godzilla has an incredible regenerative factor, allowing him to heal injuries almost instantly. Godzilla also is able to spit a beam of incredible force. This Godzilla is also able to generate a devastating nuclear pulse, an undirected current of atomic power released from his body in all directions. Following his absorption of the radioactive energies of Fire Rodan, Godzilla gained an even more powerful radioactive breath attack, a golden ray of death and obliteration. In his dying days, as the terrible 'Burning Godzilla', Godzilla's body was giving off incredible heat, boiling the waters of the ocean as he swam through them. Such was the rampant, uncontrollable nature of Godzilla's nuclear energy at this point that all of his attacks were very variable in power, at times being weaker than normal and at other times being vastly more powerful than usual.

Travelers from the future employed a time machine to transport the Godzillasaurus on Lagos Island to the last decade of the 20th century, thereby removing the dinosaur from the atomic test that would have transformed it into Godzilla. Unfortunately, the region of the Bering Sea they chose to deposit the dinosaur in was also the site of a Soviet nuclear submarine accident. The lingering radiation of the sinking mutated the dinosaur into Godzilla. A further infusion of atomic power was given to Godzilla when he attacked and destroyed the nuclear submarine built and operated by the Shindo Corporation. Godzilla soon set foot on the Japanese islands, and was quickly confronted by the Futurians' own monster, King Ghidorah. Godzilla made short work of the three-headed monster and made his way to Tokyo, ravaging the countryside as he went. The remains of King Ghidorah were revived as Mecha-King Ghidorah and sent to prevent Godzilla from destroying the city. In this task, the cyborg succeeded, but it was finished off by a point blank blast of atomic fire as it flew Godzilla out to sea. Over the years, Godzilla returned to Japan many times, battling many creatures during the course of his rampages. Mothra, Battra, Rodan, and Space Godzilla each had their own conflicts with Godzilla. The UNGCC, founded to end Godzilla's rampages sent the robot monsters Mechagodzilla and MOGUERA to defeat the beast, but always Godzilla emerged triumphant. Mechagodzilla came the closest to ending Godzilla's reign of terror, but the crippled Godzilla was able to absorb the energies of the dying Fire Rodan, healing himself and gaining a terrible golden ray of devastating power. Godzilla met his end when his own nuclear energies began to go amok. His own radiation caused the uranium deposits on Birth Island to detonate, destroying the island utterly and giving off enough fallout to both destabilize Godzilla's atomic furnace and mutate Little Godzilla into the more evolved Godzilla Junior. Godzilla appeared in Hong Kong, his body glowing with nuclear energy running rampant through his body, his skin steaming and smoking as his body quickly built towards a meltdown. The JSDF and UNGCC tried many measures to try and prevent Godzilla's meltdown, and the awful 'China Syndrome' it was feared his super-heated corpse might cause. At the same time, many crustacean creatures were plaguing Tokyo, living progeny of the Oxygen Destroyer which had killed the first Godzilla in 1954. It was decided to lure Godzilla to Tokyo in the hopes that the Destroyer-creatures could kill him before his body reached critical mass. To do this, psychics Miki Saegusa and Meru were able to lead Godzilla Junior to the city. Godzilla soon followed. The crustaceans, after being defeated by Godzilla Junior, merged into a huge, winged, gargoyle-like monster, Destroyah. Destroyah set upon avenging himself on Godzilla Junior, seemingly killing the beast. Then, the fiend began his assault on the vengeful Godzilla. The battle was long and terrible, but in the end Godzilla's immense power and tremendous fury proved too much for Destroyah. Trying to flee, the monster was finished off by the weaponry of the Super X-3. Even as Destroyah expired, Godzilla's body began its hideous and climactic meltdown. Flesh dripped from his bones and even these turned to ash and slime as the radiation consumed everything. The radioactive residue of Godzilla's death seemed certain to poison Tokyo for generations, when radiation levels began to drop away. Rising from the ruins of the Haneda Airport, Godzilla Junior arose. The younger beast had absorbed the radiation from the elder, becoming, in effect, the new Godzilla.

Godzilla Junior Height: 40 Meters
Mass: 15,000 Metric Tons
--------------------------
Little Godzilla Height: 30 Meters
Little Godzilla Mass: 8,000 Metric Tons
--------------------------
Baby Godzilla Height: 3.53 Meters
Baby Godzilla Mass: 0.42 Metric Tons
--------------------------
Film Appearances: Godzilla vs Destoroyah (as Godzilla Junior) , Godzilla vs Space Godzilla (as Little Godzilla & Baby Godzilla)

Powers: Like the elder Godzilla, Godzilla Junior is able to spit a powerful atomic beam from his mouth. The mutant theropod is also able to swim at a rapid pace. His regenerative abilities, while considerable, seem inferior to those of the elder Godzilla. Massive amounts of radiation can serve to revive this creature even from the brink of death, and allow him to mature into an even more powerful form.

Godzilla Junior is a valiant if inexperienced fighter. The monster is less certain of his own abilities, employing his powerful breath weapon sparingly. He is easily surprised by the tactics of his enemies, though his tenacity and never-say-die attitude can be enough to prevail over such potentially ruinous surprises.

Hatched from an egg discovered on Adona Island, Godzilla Junior matured into his semi-adult state when Godzilla's run-away radiation caused the uranium deposits on Birth Island to detonate, saturating with nuclear energy the younger creature and advancing his growth rate. Godzilla Junior was soon discovered peacefully swimming along the coast of Japan, heading back to Adona Island. In an effort to lure Godzilla to Tokyo in the hopes that Destoroyah could kill him before Godzilla's body could meltdown, psychics Meru and Miki Saegusa lead Godzilla Junior to Tokyo. Godzilla Junior fought a brief but terrible battle with the aggregate Destoroyah, barely managing to defeat the hideous mutant with a limited nuclear pulse from his body. The victory was short lived however, for Destoroyah soon returned in his immense final stage form. Destoroyah grabbed Godzilla Junior and flew high into the air, dropping the juvenile monster into the ruins of Haneda airport. The fall all but killed Godzilla Junior. Before he could fully expire, however, the awful meltdown of the elder Godzilla finally occurred, saturating Tokyo with radiation. Godzilla Junior absorbed this fallout, reviving himself and maturing into a new Godzilla

Godzilla (Millenium)

Height: 55 meters

Mass: 20,500 metric tons

Debut Film: Godzilla 2000

Powers: Godzilla is able to breathe a fiery ray of radiation that is highly explosive. The monster is also able to superheat his dorsal plates, allowing them to melt through metal. The monster is highly agile as well, able to knock a flying object from the sky with a swipe of his tail. Godzilla's greatest attribute, however, is a compound in his cell structure called 'Regenerator G-1', allowing the monster to regenerate damaged tissue at an incredible rate. Already highly resistant to injury and attack, this regeneration ability makes Godzilla almost indestructible.

Godzilla seems to prefer to close with an enemy and rend it with his claws and fangs. He seems unwilling to employ his atomic breath except as a last resort, unless an enemy has proven too tough to defeat in any other manner. Godzilla also seems unwilling to refuse any challenge, lumbering forward at the slightest provocation, heedless of caution or common sense.

The exact origin of Godzilla is a mystery, although he is the spawn of atomic radiation. For an unknown period of time, the monster has been haunting the shores of Japan, attacking and feeding upon energy sources such as nuclear power plants. During an attack on the nuclear power plant at Tokai, Godzilla was assaulted by the alien UFO found in the Ogasawara Trench. The UFO dealt Godzilla a serious injury. The very next night, with the saucer in Tokyo, Godzilla returned to exact his revenge. The alien intelligence within the UFO absorbed some of Godzilla's DNA, extracting the Regenerator G-1 cells. Using this genetic matter, the formless alien created a body for itself, turning into the hulking monster Orga. The imperfect merging of alien and Godzilla DNA lost no time in attacking Godzilla, seeking even more of his DNA to become still more like a clone of the mutant Godzilla. But Orga was unable to prevail, and Godzilla defeated the alien after a fierce battle.

Godzilla (Showa)

Height: 50 meters

Mass: 20,000 metric tons

Debut Film: Gigantis the Fire Monster

Other Film Appearances: King Kong vs Godzilla; Godzilla vs Mothra; Ghidrah the Three-headed Monster; Godzilla vs Monster Zero; Godzilla versus the Sea Monster; Son of Godzilla; Destroy All Monsters; Godzilla's Revenge; Godzilla vs the Smog Monster; Godzilla on Monster Island; Godzilla vs Megalon; Godzilla vs the Cosmic Monster; Terror of Mechagodzilla. Also appeared on the television series Zone Fighter.

Powers: A powerful regenerative power enables Godzilla to heal even the most hideous wounds quickly. He has displayed this power in his battles with the saw-wielding Gigan and the corrosive acids of Hedorah. Godzilla also displays a variety of radioactive breath attacks, ranging from fiery blasts of atomic flame, to concentrated gouts of radioactive smoke. Godzilla's tail is long and powerful and is often used to help batter a foe into submission. On rare occasions, Godzilla has absorbed the power of an electrical storm to magnetize his body. He has also been observed to use his atomic breath to propel himself through the air. An amphibious monster, Godzilla is equally at home on land or sea.

This Godzilla displayed a much less unstoppable and much more intelligent manner of fighting. Vulnerable to electricity, Godzilla nonetheless could harness the power of a storm to revitalize himself. In battle, Godzilla would grapple with an enemy, employing his fiery breath as a weapon of last resort or as the coup de gra to finally convince his foe that it was time to concede defeat. Godzilla was by no means a ruthless adversary, often times allowing an enemy to flee with its life rather than finishing the vanquished monster off. In latter years, Godzilla exhibited a definite compassion for humanity, sometimes sacrificing himself to save human life.

Following the destruction of the original Godzilla, a second member of the species was discovered on a barren island battling the monster Anguirus. The two soon continued their battle to Japan. Eventually, Godzilla was trapped in an avalanche of ice by the Japanese military. It was a short respite, for soon the ice broke away and was floating in the Bering Sea as an iceberg when Godzilla finally freed himself. His second reign of terror was ended by the giant ape King Kong, who left the reptile below the waters off the coast of Japan. Following an attempt by the Japanese to reclaim land from the sea, Godzilla returned, emerging from the once submerged earth. Only the timely assistance of Mothra saved Japan, Mothra's twin larvae binding Godzilla in a veil of silk and causing the reptile to topple back into the sea. Godzilla soon returned, appearing off the coast of Japan and heading straight toward his old stomping grounds. He was soon locked in a prolonged battle with Rodan. Meanwhile, the monster King Ghidorah arrived on Earth. In order to defeat the three-headed fiend, Mothra convinced Godzilla and Rodan to join forces and defeat the space demon, sending Ghidorah flying away from Earth with his tails between his legs. Soon thereafter, the aliens of the Planet X approached the people of Earth to borrow Godzilla and Rodan to help them rid their own world of King Ghidorah. Eager to be rid of the two monsters, the earth agreed. The Xians soon revealed their true nature, sending all three monsters to attack Japan. The alien control over the monsters was broken, however and Godzilla and Rodan soon confronted their old enemy King Ghidorah. All three monsters fell into the sea, only King Ghidorah emerging, again retreating into space. Godzilla was not seen again until his dormant body was discovered by marooned adventurers on the island of Letchi. They revived the monster with a bolt of electricity in an effort to save themselves from the terrorist organization Red Bamboo and their sea monster Ebirah. Godzilla was next seen on Sogell island, answering the call of an egg which revealed itself to contain a baby member of the species. Godzilla and his 'son' Minya soon found themselves battling the island's other monstrous inhabitants, a swarm of huge praying mantises called Kamakirus and the giant spider Kumonga. A weather experiment froze the two victorious reptiles. When Godzilla next appeared, it was as one of the inmates of Monsterland, a facility in the Ogasawara Islands designed to contain all of the Earth's monsters. The alien Kilaaks soon freed the monsters and used them to attack the world's great cities. When they were freed of the alien control, the monsters were set upon the Kilaaks, Godzilla leading the attack. Even King Ghidorah's appearance could not save the Kilaaks from Godzilla's wrath. Following the events of the Kilaak invasion, Godzilla became a friend to mankind, defending humanity and the earth from all manner of alien invaders and their monstrous creatures. He also befriended the size-changing superhero Zone Fighter, helping him to ward off the evil designs of the Garoga aliens and their army of monsters. Godzilla's last appearance was his successful defeat of the combined menace of Titanosaurus and Mechagodzilla 2.
