Smash Bros. Melee
Smash Brothers Melee, the sequel to Smash Bros. for Nintendo. It has new characters, platforms (levels) and more one player things! I think it is better the the classic Smash Bros.
Here are the Characters:

Peach: A new character for the game. She is not a good beginner character and acquires strategic skills to be used properly. She is quite powerful and her jumping is really good. She can throw turnips, and rarely, sometimes instead of picking up a turnip, it'd turn out to be another item. Although, she is easy to be knocked off since she is a light character.
Tips: Wondering what in the world Toad is used for? It can rebound the attacks back at the opponent. If you have bad timing skills, I advise you not to use, for if you time it wrong, you are open to attack.

Bowser: Another new addition to the game. He is very slow, but extremely strong. And when you use his smash attacks, it gives off this pyschological effect and it makes you cringe at the sight of the blow. He too, is not the best starter character and many haven't mastered him so he can overcome faster characters.
Tips: His b flaming attack you can hold, but if you hold it for too long, it will become this small flame in his mouth and won't hurt anybody. It also takes some time charging it back up again. His B--> (my favourite attack!) he holds them and bites them, the more B button pushing, the more he bites them. If you push the control stick to one side after the biting, he will throw them. Sometimes, if you aren't accurate, Bowser will just slash them instead of biting them.

Ice Climbers: They cute duo! Yes, you have to use not one character, but two! Not good for beginners for using two at a time is difficult. They are very annoying too! Since there is two characters, you can pick up two items. They are not that fast, but no exactly slow.
Tips They are very good for one on ones for it is almost impossible to throw these guys because if you get hold of one, the other partner is gonna hit you! Another hint is that the pink one doesn't take damage, only the blue on does. So it's pointless to hit the pink one. But that doesn't mean that the pink one is useless, for if she falls off, you won't be able to use the effective b-up combo.

Zelda: Ah yes, the beautiful, graceful Zelda! Her attacks consist mostly of strong magical great knock-off attacks. She is not the most fastest character and can get knocked off easily, but her magic attacks are quite effective. Her b-up is not the greatest, you can teleport with her but if your opponent is smart enough, he/she can predict easily where Zelda is going to appear for you can't really control the distance she is going to go.
Tips: Her Naryu's Love (b) can reflect attacks, such as: Pikachu's lighting bolts, Fox's and Folco's blaster beams, Samus's energy balls, Ness' psychic balls, Ice Climbers ice, and other various items.

Shiek: Yes, Shiek, the 'other' side of Zelda. She is very fast and is a very accurate character. But she can be knocked off easily like Zelda. Her combos are very good and can hit others even before they begin to get off the ground (many people I talk to find this annoying X3). She lacks powerful knock-off attacks.
Tips: Shiek has needles, (b, the longer you hold it, the more you have) and sometimes you want to hit someone with it, but they move out of range. But you don't want to waste them you say? Then press Z and Shiek will keep them for you until you press b again and she'll throw all of them without having to build up again. Useful and annoying, ne?

Pichu: Yes, the cute de-evolve form of Pikachu! A threat to itself too! Yes, it hurts itself, isn't that pleasant? Pichu's quite fast though, and can deliver powerful attacks if used properly. You just have to watch your damage to make sure it isn't too high.
Tips: This isn't really a tip, but depending on which way you face, Pichu has two different taunts. And just beware, Pichu's B--> or B<--- goes really far and very quickly and is can be really misused and if it is, you're most likely to fly off the edge. SO don't charge it up all the way!!!

Young Link: Well, hello, it's Link's younger self! His flaming arrows are extremely annoying, you'd probably rather walk up to older Link and ask him to shoot you with his regular arrows. But the problem with Young Link is that his sword is REALLY short ranged and doesn't send any opponents anywhere. Okay, in simpler terms. Young Link's sword is literally a twig. A tooth pick compared to Older Links' sword. I'd prefer Older Link over Young Link.
Tips: Not much to say here...watching his taunt is fun...X3

Mewtwo: Yes, the evil, genetic Pokemon. Mewtwo is quite slow since he hovers instead of walking, and not a beginner character. He is very strong though and his attacks are annoying. His psychic attacks are fun to watch and use and if you master his speed problems, you've basically got it all! Tips: You think Mewtwo's energy ball is useless because Samus has it too? Well, taunt you oppenent and make them run at you! Because if your opponents tries to run into Mewtwo (probably for an attack because I don't think anyone would senselessly run into their opponent -_-'), they're in for a surprise. When an opponent touches Mewtwo while charging, they get hurt so I'd back off or use a long range attack if I were you! And you wondering what Mewtwo's B-->, <-- B does? It turns your opponent around, I think it's Mewtow's confuse ray. And it can turn other things around, for example if Samus is blasting energy balls at you, time right and use B--> (or <--B depending which way you're facing) and Mewtwo will turn it right back around. Although unlike Zelda's Naryu's love, it won't hurt the opponent, it just goes right through them.

Falco: Well, hello there! It's Fox's rival, Falco! He is much like Fox, so if you are good with Fox, it's most likely you'd rock with Falco. He is quite strong and extremely fast. His b--> anb B <--- are annoying but effective. Although, his flaming falcon attack is much shorter than Fox's. Annoyed at Fox's uneffective blaster rays? Well halellujah Falco's actually hits them around!
Tips: Nothing much here, but a useful combo is to us your reflective shield, hitting them either face first into the ground, or up into the air. Then after doing that, use your reflective shield to hit them. An exellent annoying, effective combo.

Ganandorf: We can't forget Link's evil enemy can't we? He's slow, but his attacks are strong and can send an opponent flying. If you can hit them. His attacks are somewhat unresponsive sometimes and falter. Once you get a hang of them though, he's a good character to fight with.
Tips: Not much to say here! Stupid boring Ganandorf..grr....>:3

Dr. Mario: I have hardly even played with him so I don't know much about him. He's basically a doctor form of Mario. Well, he is. I've always though Dr. Mario's pills would cure you if you somehow shot them then ran into them. But it doesn't, sucks don't it? In fact, he can't cure anything some doctor, huh? You might as well use Mario.
Tips: Use Mario! >:3

Kirby: What better to be than a pink marshmellow? I think Kiryb has gotten somewhat worse as he was created in the sequel. His attacks are less strong but he, nonetheless is still an awesome character to be. A good starter character. His side smash attack appears to be his most powerful. And his throws downright SUCK! His side throw (accomplished by grabbing the character and tilting the control stick to one side) is the worst! Sometimes if your by an edge, and you decide to throw the character off the side, bad news, ain't a good idea! Because 80% change you'll fling yourself over and your opponent will stay on the ledge, feeling so happy and joyous. So I advice you to never use the side throw! Unless if your well away from an edge. But still, sometimes he throws himself, doing a cartwheel while the opponents character stands there watching him do his little roll, safe from harm. Now you're open for an attack! How useful is that?
Tips: Can't forget his famous rock formation, can we? This time he has many! From a bubblegum form to a whomp. Try 'em all out in training mode! See which one does the most damage because they all don't do the same! Also wondering how in the world to get off his disguise? Do your taunt and it'll disappear in a star! One strategy I use with Kirby, is his side throw. I have discovered this move WHILE FALLING OFF BECAUSE OF THE STUPID THROW! Anywho, so. You've got lots of damage and you want to jump off of the edge to clear your damage you say? But you want to take someone with you without risking them getting another point? Well! This is where Kirby comes in! Lure your opponent to the edge and use the side throw. Make sure you're really close or else you're going to end up throwing only yourself over. So now you dragged you opponent down with you and no health for a bonus! Now that's what _I_ call useful!

Yoshi: Well, if it ain't our green, amphibious little friend, Yoshi! He has gotten worse I think too. He still has his famous butt-stomp and is funny as ever. But he has something added to him. He can roll! Okay, now you probably think I'm crazy and how in the world you could possibly use a roll in battle. Besides dodging, not much. But what if it's a super speed roll? He rolls into his egg and blasts across the level, knocking whatever in it's path away. At first it's hard to control, but once you do, it's as easy as pie. Sometimes you can even roll back and forth underneath an opponent, sending it flying upwards then hitting upwards again after it comes down. Now do yah see it as useful? Other than that, basically everything else is the same.
Tips: Nothing much here to say!

Roy: Who is Roy, you ask? He's from an anime called Fire Emblem. He's a cute prince, ne? Anyway, Roy is a nice, accurate swordsman. His b up is especially cool and dangerous. Did I mention annoying too? He is a strong character and can easily hit his opponent off with his side smash attack. Though he is a bit slow, and his b up doesn't get him back on the platform very well. He has short ranges attacks and has to get close to hit the person. Unlike Link who has his arrows and boomarang. HIs charging up attack isn't that great. Tips: Wandering what his b down does? Well golly gosh, he's got a counter attack! It's very good, especially against another swordsman characters. But again, you have to have good timing ability. He will block/dodge the attack then come at the character with a slash of his sword. And his charge up attack (b), that can also break shields.

Marth: This guy is almost exactly the same as Roy. Even from the same show! Though he is a bit faster, he is weaker. He lacks attacks that his the opponent of the platform but is a lot faster. Tips: Just that is you're better with faster characters, but like Marth and Roy, pick Marth. But if you like the two and you're better with stronger characters and are okay that they are kinda slow, obviously pick Roy! Common sense, ne?

Link: How can we forget him? He appears in the original Smash Bros. Melee and his jumping sucks. But welcome to the enhanced Smash Bros.! Where Link's jump rocks so much! It's a nice uppercutting attack and it's annoying! And it actually GETS you back on the platform, amazing! And how he's eqiupped with arrows, nice! He's quite strong too, with nice strong sword attacks. He still has his hookshot which is hard to actually latch onto the opponent and if you miss, you are very open to attack. He's swift and strong, with both long ranged and short ranged attacks, what more can you ask for?
Tips: Dang! Missed the edge by just an inch! Well, Link's hookshot is going to save the day! If you can't reach the edge, use your hookshot and you can grab the edge and Link will pull himself up to safe haven! Awesome! Master it in training mode and you're all set.

Samus: All you people out there know Samus is a girl. Right? Anywho, Samus is one powerful gal. From her swift kicks to her huge energy blasts. Now she has homing rockets that are a good nuisance attack. Most of her attacks are the same 'cept for the rockets. She is a great jumper, fast and strong. A good character to master.
Tips: Hey Samus has a hookshot thingy too, so wouldn't it have the same effect as Link's? Well, great job you won a million bucks! Not really, but hey, you're right! It can grab on the edge just like Link! Hallelujah! (Sp??)

Pikachu: He's back and looking cute as ever! He's not that fat, yellow block thingy back in Smash Bros. 64! He's got almost the same attacks, but hey! The thunder bolt (b down) doesn't go from the very top of the stage! Now it comes from this weird cloud that opponents can jump over. Sucks, huh? But he's still powerful and fast. His b--> <--b isn't as fast, strong and doesn't go as far as Pichu's, but it's still effective.
Tips: None here!

Captain Falcon: Okay the scary man is back. Still fast. Powerful? You be the judge of that...vv' He's got a new flaming move though! His falcon punch (b) is awesome but lacks accuracy. Yay! He's still got that annoying hug attack thingy! (b up) He's a good accurate character but I wouldn't prefer him.
Tips: The b up attack is good when you're trying to get back on the edge and your opponent is waiting for you. Grab them, hit him away and you have a nice open space to get back on without being hit back off.
Fox: He's just like Falco but his fire fox goes a lot more farther than Falco's. Awe but they downgraded his blaster! Now the lasers hit hopelessly against the opposing player's body. It does damage, but you have to beware that the opponent couuld just walk towards you, no matter how much you shoot you, and could hit you.
Tips: Why would I have any tips for Fox??

Luigi: Well hello, Mario's brother! This time he ain't a secret character! Joy! I don't know if he's gotten any better, for I don't play with him (and I intend not to!!!). His jumping is somewhat...more on the delaying side. He's a slow jumper.
Tips: Hey wanna give someone a little kick? Well, that's why Luigi has his taunt! He does that shy kick thing, and well, it hurts people! Not much use though. It does one damage and it's hard to plant it on someone in the first place. Iss fun though in the training mode area, though. ^^
