The Anime Acadamy at Walter Johnson focuses on the topic of animation.
The club is made
of those who love cartoon/comic style art. Currently our
direct focus is on Japanese
animation known to most as Anim?(ah-nee-meh), because
it is making itself a well
known and popular type of animation around the world.
Different methods of animation
like 3D animation (computer/clay-animated) is also
welcomed in this club.
 The animation club has a number of
plans for itself. The club's major project is to make a
comic strip that everyone puts effort into. We also share
different ideas and drawing
techniques for those who are interested. Conventions are
a huge thing to this club so at
so at least once a year the club plans a trip to a
convention such as Otakon, which is a
closely located anime convention.
 Anyone is welcome to join this
club, especially for those who have an interest in
animation, its a great way to meet people with the same
interests. Meetings are held
Wednesdays during afterschool in room 200.

Today we planned t-shirt designs and had some samples and choices for our club t-shirt.
We are discussing a trip to Otakon in August and arrangements are being made.
Please tell Jenny if you would like to attend it.
We also watched more Fushigi Yugi.
Our meetings are still being held on Wednesdays in either room 200 or room 241.
Please show up!

Hey, just an update on what's been going on in anime club for the past couple
of weeks. Last week and the week before, we had drawing
competitions and
made some bookmarks. Today, we watched Akira on dvd which I enjoyed.

Welcome back from the summer, and welcome to new
classmen. The club site has been
renovated for simplicity and other things that will
benefit you.
Finally the site is updated. Like the layout?
Hope you like it. Tried to make it simple but cool.
Extra Note:Kareshi Kanojou no Jijou
(His and Her Circumstances) is almost coming out on to
VHS and DVD.
Be sure to check it out, its pretty funny, and for those
interested in DragonBall Z, Movie 6
Metal Cooler will be out in the US soon. I'll try to post
more info on this as soon as possible.
