Tyler Haston

After all the American Digidestined were zapped to the Digital World where they became Freedom Spirits, good ol' USA was left unprotected from the demon threat. There was Mimi, but she's only one girl. No one other than a native could properly protect the country. The citizen the Powers chose was 18 year-old Tyler Haston. He recieved the Crest of Freedom (which is a simple white star) and his faithful Digimon partner Tigermon. He's really new at the Digidestined thing, though, and if Matt hadn't come along when he did, the US would be doomed! He also has the ability to drive demons out of people, much like the Key. Unlike the Key, however, it drains him of energy.

Tyler likes to act hyper like his youngest brother, but unlike Zeke Tyler only does it to cover up his self-consciousness. Inside, he's a really lonely guy. In fact, he's never even had a girlfriend! He grew up under the spotlight, so he doesn't know how to act around "normal" kids. Before he became a Digidestined, he had no real friends outside his family. Now he has more friends than he can handle!
