Hello to all true believers. Damn, this is really becoming an unfortunate habit of mine: A large amount of time between dates. Anyhoo, I bring the latest chapters of a440's Vandread, The Third Stage: The Pereira Star Empire as well as dmv128's And so I Dared to Dream and Vandread: Next Enemy.
But yes, my life has been busy, so updates to the VL are become a lesser priority. It may sound like a bad thing but have no fear: I'll never, ever forgotten about this seemingly unstoppable site and I have no intention of starting. In the meantime, go check out the forums!

Hello to all true believers. I have finally emerged from the wilderness to bring the latest chapters to a440's Vandread, The Third Stage: The Pereira Star Empire, squallwis04's Memory and Soul Impaired's Crimson Tears.
So where have I been? Well, I recently moved house: I left Tasmania for a job in Melbourne, with my partner Dita in tow, and I've now got my own place. It's taken a while to get settled and I'm now in a position to return (yet again) to this corner of web-space
So no, I haven't died. I have just been busy. So thanks to all those who kept returning to this site and I hope to see speak to you in the forum

Hello all: I bring an update
to this long lasting site (it just won't die!!!) with a rather major
announcement:
At the Moment I am working together with my partner Dita on
building a new incarnation of the Vandread Library. You heard right: The
proposal for the VL: Second Stage has been dusted off and placed into action.
Although this revamp is still in development, what we can promise is a brand new
server, new features, and a new interface based on php. We will also have proper
access to the forums as well! (I am aware that angelfire is denying access to
the forums so in the meantime all you users may want to copy and paste this
link:

Anyway, for today I have the latest chapters
of a440's Vandread, The Third Stage: The Pereira Star Empire and Soul Impaired's Crimson Tears.
But now for now, we're in the tail end of 2007 and this update will be the last for this year. This year may have been scant in the the terms of updates but this site will not closing shop any time soon. Sure the updates may have been few and far between but I have not given up on it: As I have done years before I have kept coming back to it. So may I take this opportunity to say, to all the True Believers, thank you for your continued support and for coming back to this site and keeping it going. A Merry Christmas to you all and I hope to speak to you all again on the other side of 2009.

Hello everyone. MAJOR update this one! I took the time to add some completely new features, in the form of a Rumor Pit, a Character Guide and a Credits Page. This will ensure that the VL continues to be one of, if not the, best site on Vandread here in cyberspace. I even took the time to iron out a few chinks I came across.
Now for those who are wondering what the hell happened to the forum, that is still in development. But rest assured that something will eventuate soon - please be patient!

Yes, it's that time of the year again....
Funny how it is: Fans get
hooked onto something, they think it's awesome and they make sites to share
their awe around. Thing is, such interest don't really last beyond several
years. Thus such sites have a limited lifespan and they tend to gather dust
quickly.
So where does the VL stand amongst this? It's still rumbling on.
Sure I have been unjustly neglectful of this site in recent months (due to other
projects demanding attention) but I'm not pulling the plug on this site. And I
can certainly say there is plenty of life in this old dog yet.
So, thank you
to everyone who has supported this site over the years, and kept coming back to
visit it even when things looked....inactive. I know I've said this before but
even when I've been elsewhere, I have no intention of giving up this site.
Here's
to the True Believers! (you know you are) And to a more productive twelve months
of mayhem!

RE: Vandread Library Turbulence Stage
Hello there
No, your eyes don't deceive you: After nearly a year of inactivity, The Vandread Library is back and restored to full operation. Yes, the site that broke down so many barriers is now back to.....breaking down even more barriers.
I guess the first big question is what happened to the proposed Second Stage? Well, my colleague Meyer is working out the code for it so it is still in development. This project hasn't been forgotten - it's just being worked on. So until that day comes, the original VL will still keep soldiering on in the name of Vandread fanfiction (and in anticipation of the upgrade, you may have already noticed a direct link to the proposed Second Stage has been added to the opening menu).
The next big question is where have I been? Well contrary to popular belief I
haven't died. It's just a number of issues in my life have kept me occupied and
have drawn my attention away from my beloved VL. But in any case, I'm back and
keen to get back to my little creation.
However mention must be made of how
much support has been made with regards to my disappearance. I had no idea just
how great an impact my site had made. I hadn't a clue that my site attracted so
much traffic (blame a faulty visitor counter). And I'm particularly astonished that
people actually started thinking I was dead.
But yes, I am back now to work
more into my site - so now all these rumours of my passing can now stop.
So the Vandread Library has returned: With the additional title of Turbulence Stage. Like the anime, this will serve as segue to the Second Stage. And the acknowledge this return and new direction, I've taken the liberty of adding some new features in the form of an Episode Guide, a Story Title List and, best of all, a direct link to the Second Stage forum. Yes, we have a forum! So go sign up and talk to everyone else.
With this site returning with renewed vigour, I would like to take this moment to thank everyone who has supported this site since conception, those who kept coming back to it even when nothing was happening, those who asked both myself and Meyer when the VL be coming back, and all true believers who support Vandread fanfiction.
That said, here's to the new VL: Turbulence Stage and a new fruitful phase in
this site's long and distinguished history.
And may I say, it's great to be back.

Hello everyone. For today's update I have an
announcement to make:
I am currently in the stages of planning a massive
revamp for the VL! yes, you heard right: After five years working on this corner
of cyberspace, I have decided that the time has come for a massive overhaul.
This will involve changing the design, adding some new features and moving to a
new host!
But I won't be doing this alone: I have a partnership formed with
ace web designer Meyer who originally proposed this idea to me. As such, we are
both working hard to see that this revamp is completed in time for the VL's
fifth birthday (couldn't think of better time for it!)
So all in all, I am
excited about this revamp and hopes that it leads to another five years of the
VL's operation.
Watch this space for more details!

well I have been slack when it has come to updates over the past twelve months

Oh my Goodness...
Okay, so my updates pattern has been rather erratic over the past few months but as well as being tied down with exams (which are now out the window and gone forever, YAY!!!), I have been involved in a major overhaul of this site. Yes, you heard correctly. Plans are development to revamp this site completely and relocate it to a new server. Of course, I'm excited but such an operation is still being planned. So watch this space for further details!
But now that 2006 is winding down to an end, this update will be the last for this year. It's been a blast, this being the fifth year in operation and this site still has plenty of life in it. Yes folks! After an extended hiatus, I'm now back to work on the VL! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and an equally delightful New year.
Anyway, this being the first update for 2004, I would take this
opportunity to thank those who have stood by this site through thick and thin and have contributed various works to make it the strong, healthy archive that it has become. Rest
assured that this year, 2004, this site will continue forging new frontiers for Vandread fanfic authors everywhere!

However, I will not be on the look out for any more fics as I'm busy with school work and I'm facing problems with my e-mail account.

Why the sudden decision? Well, I recently received an e-mail suggesting that I put up a message board. However, whilst I have little time to step up, and attend to, a message board, the idea of an increase in interaction certainly appealed to me. Therefore, I decided to knock up a guestbook.
On a more important note, however, I have decided to put all updates on a temporal hold. An urgency of priorities has forced me to currentely put the site on hold. Primarily because:
a) I'm busy with school work and
b) I'm also having problems with my e-mail account.
But don't panic! I have no intention of giving up this site. Why, between you and me, I've something big in store for this site.......

13/06/2002: Yeah, I know this is my first update in a long while but I have been very busy working on a massive Vandread serial (among other things).
Consequently, I haven't had time to concentrate on updates. But rest assured that I haven't forgotten this site and will return to it eventually.
In the meantime, I did, however, managed to find time to go back over the site and fix the interface somewhat.
