Strategy Guide
NOTE:
This Guide is not complete; instead it just covers the more difficult parts of the game.

Castle Basement:
The area isn't very large. First off, make sure you pick up Carnation's new weapon, and explore everywhere for treasure. You will eventually run into a door that is locked. To unlock it find the room with the suit of armor in the middle. Examine the armor for a fight to ensue. Sword and Cold attacks work great on it.

You will get the key. Open the locked door. You will enter a room with a puzzle in it. Solve the puzzle (really, it's not that hard…) You will then be given a chance to heal and save. I strongly suggest you not fight this boos until Rei has Seraphim and Carnation can cast Raise (or even Epiphany) because this guy is HARD! He can drain all of your magic and is very immune to Sword attacks, so hopefully you saved all of your ethers.

Koorong:
Koorong is a difficult place. If you can, buy the Rainbow Catcher from the peddler in the city and equip it to Harmeet. Second, the enemies here can be very difficult and inflict many status effects. Save often, and buy plenty of equipment.

On your way to Morrow's it is very straight forward at first. Try to explore everywhere, and pick up all the items and armor. Many chests are fakes and hold nothing, so be wary. Once you find Morrow, he will ask for you to get moss for him. This requires turning on all of the generators. The first one is the very first generator you passed; the second was the last one on the way to Morrow's and the third generator is the very large one. Then go to the fork in the road and examine the old piece of machinery, it will unlock the gate. (Examine the gate for it to open). Ahead will be the boss, Lich. Harmeet should be at level 16 for this. It helps if Fojo has Rainbow Metsu Storm. Lich uses a hit all attack that can kill everyone quick. Harmeet should just heal while Fojo attacks with Fire spells or Metsu.

After the battle you will go back to Morrow. After you get Morrow, you must go back to the path that led to the now dead, Lich. Take the north path and examine the door, (there is a glitch here so it may take a try or two, just go off the screen and enter again. Rastaban will attack. He is a pushover.
Note: After the sad scene concludes and fades to black, sometimes it stays black. This is an error in RPG Maker. Should it occur, just simply go back to your last save, and try fighting him again.

Climbing Rubicant:
First off there is a new weapon for Carnation here. Second, equip the new sword you got from the Brass fight.
Along the trail is a chest. Open it and you will get into a fairly difficult fight with an Elf Thief. Use Cold spells like Shiva to take him out. For the battle you get the Theif Gloves!
After this, make sure you fight the enemies in the cave as they have items to cure Berserk.
Boss: Greb
Use magic and make sure one of your characters is protected against Berserk. Otherwise, prepare to be creamed.

Rescue Rei:
There is nothing really difficult about this place, just use Morrow's Dark spells on the angels and be ready for status affects a plenty and of all kinds from them. Hopefully you found the extra Ribbon earlier. The whole place is now equipped with new treasures, weapons, and armors, so explore! Nastasya will confront you at Rei's room. Be ready for status affects. After hitting her a bit, she will use Harrowing, this spell hurts everyone, a bunch, so try to take her out as fast as possible. After the battle, examine the box in Rei's room to leave to the next area.

Byakko Shrine:
The answers to the questions are:
-Myself
-I would try again
-Fate will decide
-It is their choice
-I will defeat you
-There was nothing I could do
-It doesn't matter how you answer the last one. Either answer will be accepted.
However, try fighting a couple of times and get the wrong answer. This is a good chance to do some leveling up. Plus Kyasku will quickly learn some new magic. Try to at least get Byakko's Blessing.

FINAL BATTLES
Biet: This time around, Biet isn't nearly as hard, his moves are the same, just a bit more powerful. He still has his status inducing Al Bhed Grenade. Also he has picked up Davis' More and More Attack, for major damage. Lead off the fight with Malboro. Spear attacks, Cold and Air work great. However, if you want to hit him fast and hard, Dark Attacks can kill this guy fast so Morrow is the best choice.

Rastaban:
When fighting Rastaban again, be warned of one thing; he can inflict EVERY status affect. Hopefully, you have all three ribbons, if not, well tough love. Use fire attacks to do the most damage. Ice and Sword attacks won't harm him. Luckily he has very little HP, so just try to kill him before he gets a chance to attack. Rei will be on Defense most of the time since she can't hurt him to well, so cast Disappear on her.

Princess Nastasya:
Weapons work great against her. Her Harrowing attack is just as bad as last time, but this time she'll use it a lot more, plus there is a very good chance that it will kill someone. Again, watch for status attacks. In this battle, Byakko's Blessing spell will be a lifesaver is she begins using it over and over.

Ciato: Nothing to frightful, his Karma attack can be a tad bit annoying. However, every so often he will get a Critical Hit, which will kill an ally.

Orlouge Battle
You should have everyone's ultimate weapons. Rei should have the Pluto Armor and Ribbon on. Use spells to up everyone's power and defense, such as Carbuncle, Gift, and Disappear. He has two attacks to watch for, 3 Mistresses which will hit everyone for 350+ damage and poison. Also is the Charm attack, which will cause Chaos. His physical attacks are very powerful as well. Guns and Swords work well against him. Have plenty of Omni-antidotes, Miracle Drops, and Phoenix Downs. He has 9999 HP and is very tough. If you are under Level 25, do not attempt this. Also, don't bother with status attacks like Marlboro, they won't work. If you still have the Silver Tone Egg, use it first to drop his stats a bit.

SECRETS
Multiple Endings
To get the best ending, you must get Ildon and Karis.
To get the okay ending, get either either Karis or Ildon.
To get the worst ending, don't get either Karis or Ildon.

Karis Card Locations:
1: In the Zuke Forest.
2: Koorong Sewers. In the room with the Heavy Helmet box, jump to the other platform. Inspect the drain pipe.
3: Ginnem Road, pray to the cherry tree in the south-east corner.
4: Nostorum, next to the crank mechanism.
5: Byakko Shrine, before entering the shrine, search the southern pavilion to find a box.

Getting Karis:
First, get all of the Karis Cards, and take them to Neferti who lives in Rootville. She will then give you the Rubicant Key. Take this key to the Rubicant Volcano which lies to the east of Rootville. Use it at the shrine and you will be teleported into a maze within the volcano. At one point you will be blocked by a water trap. To get past it, search for a pile of bones in the volcano, examine the bones to get a Coodaia Card, which will let you continue on. Search the maze for weapons and armor, especially the ribbon! Eventually, you will come to a room where Karis is being held captive by Coodaia. You will fight her. She is weak to fire and lightning attacks and uses mostly water and ice based attacks. After the fight, Karis will join the party. You can exit the volcano by climbing the wall behind Karis.

Getting Ildon:
In Nostorum, before crossing the bridge created by the crank mechanism, go up the stairs to a square stairwell. The first room you come to is a library. Read the book to receive the Brass Coin. Read it again to receive the actual password (LEFT DIRECTIONAL KEY). Leave the library and follow the stairs to the next door. When it asks for the password, hit the left key on your keyboard. Inside will be the Silver Coin and Gold Coin. Follow the stairs to a new room. Go to the left door and you will see four pots. Deposit the Brass Coin, the Silver, and then Gold in that order. (NOTE: These accessories cannot be retrieved after you deposit them. Once they are gone, they are gone!). A door will unlock, leave the pot room and go down the hallway to another room on the right; you will fight a monster and then get the Platinum Coin. Take this coin to the pot room and drop it in its pot. The door above you will open. Enter to have a conversation with Ildon. Afterwards, go cross the bridge created by the crank mechanism and enter the boss room. Ildon will join the party for the boss fight.

Seiryu Shrine:
Can only be accessed by the book in Carnation's Home, after Byakko's Shrine. Simply walk ahead and hit the drum. A fight with Seiryu will ensue. He is weak against thunder and air, and is also susceptible to Sword and Fist attacks. A good party would be Carnation, Davis, and Rei. You will receive a Gold Hairpin, and a choice between two weapons. Take the Egg, a better weapon for Byakko lies at the clockwork ruins. If you're party is at level 20, this fight won't be a problem.

Clockwork Ruins:
This is where many of the ultimate weapons can be found. The place is set up like a clock.
12 O'clock: The Asura can be found in here. A very powerful sword for Rei. However, it is very resistant to Sword attacks, so Rei will have difficulty fighting. The creature is VERY powerful. It uses a flame attack and a poison attack. It is weak against ice and holy magic. Be VERY READY for this boss. If you have any status boosting spells to up your defense, use them.

3 O'clock: Garuda is guarding the Daggers of Euripedes for Morrow. Uses earth attacks and a Chaos spell. Not too strong, good wind attacks take it down fast. Ildon's Gift ability and Blood Suck are always good.

4 O'clock: Burn Slime is guarding the Genbu Glaive. It is susceptible to Cold, Poison, and Gun attacks. Don't take Davis or Byakko into this battle.

5 and 7 O'clock: Chimera's guard the Pluto Armor and Ribbon. Two items you don't want to pass up. Strong against all magic, only physical attacks work. It is also possible to Poison it. This boss will absorb Mp and Hp, heal itself, and use Flame attacks. Karis is a good choice for this battle, as is Davis.

8 O'clock: Faruna protects the gun, Morbidity. This one is easy. Just hit it with Marlboro or other status affects. Then just wail on it.

9 O'clock: Cold slime protects the Platinum Hearts. Uses a Silence attack, Attack Down, and Frost. Swords, Fists, and Cold spells will not harm it. If you want to risk it, use Karis. Though the slime can hurt her just as much as she can hurt it, so be careful.

Yoyo:
After Byakko's Shrine, go visit Lady Fleo, she will tell you your fortune and you can get the Yoyo for Carnation under Fleo's bed.

Arctic Circle:
After getting Karis, visit Neferti again. She will give you the ultimate weapon, Arctic Circle.

Ribbons:
When breaking into Chateau Aiguille again, in the old mine, check the box with the Winter Bangle twice, you will find a Ribbon.

The second Ribbon is in the Rubicant Volcano, hidden in a chest.

The third is in the Clockwork Ruins.

Secret Land:
After the credits at the end of the game have rolled, wait exactly one minute. You will be teleported to Faust. There are LOTS of things here, but most a very well hidden. What in specific is for me to know and you to find out.
