Oddly enough, Android 16 seemed to have a great respect and love for nature. When Cell arrived, Android 16 knew that Cell wanted to destroy the Earth and 16 would not let that happen. Cell eventually got the best of him after absorbing Android 17 and becoming semi-perfect. Half his head was blown away by Cell. After Cell had left telling about the Cell Games, Dr. Brief and Bulma worked on him constantly to get him ready for the fight. During the Cell Games, Android 16 sneaks up on Cell and grabs him saying he will self-destruct to save the planet. Once it is relized that Dr. Brief removed the bomb, Cell got the upper hand and blew 16 into pieces and a head. Mr. Satan threw 16's head directly in front of Gohan, as asked by 16. Android 16 then told Gohan that he had to protect the Earth now and that he should no longer hold in his great power. With a swift stomp by Cell, 16 was gone and Gohan had turned Super Saiyan Level 2. Akira Toriyama had a great
love for nature as well as 16. It is said that Akira was able to express
his love for nature through his greatest creation, Dragonball Z. Android
16's love for nature is deeper than a character but it comes from the
