Summary: In an attempt to order takeout, Keichii dials the wrong number and accidentally contacts the Goddess Helpline. The Goddess Belldandy appears to grant him any one wish. Feeling lonely, and not really believing her, Keichii wishes for a girl like her to be with him forever. The wish is approved and Belldandy grants it. Things seem to be perfect until bugs start to appear in the cosmic system and Keichii and Belldandy have to determine if their love is worth risking the fabric of reality.

Review: Ah! My Goddess is a definite must for any romantics out there. For those of you who are not romantics, Keichii and Belldandy race motorcycles, if that is more to your liking. While my feminist side starts to twitch when I think to hard about the fact that Belldandy's only reason for existence is to make Keichii happy, he does his best to please her as well. The characters do not develop much throughout the series, because there are only five episodes. However, the dynamics of the characters are interesting and well-established. The plot is very straightforward, but quite cute. The animation is fairly standard, although the magical effects are neat.

Ratings: Characterization:7 Plot: 8 Animation: 7

Things to note: Ah! My Goddess has some sexually suggestive scene, but is generally appropriate for anyone. It is unlikely that anyone that does not have a taste for romance, whether due to a young age or just a personal entertainment preference, would probably not enjoy this anime.
