| Information: | Heero Yuy is not this pilot's true name, but is actually a code name that he assumed prior to Operation: Meteor and the first episodes of the anime.
As a rule, the Gundam pilots did not have what most people would call stellar childhoods, and Heero is a prime example. Heero was raised by Doctor
J specifically to be a Gundam pilot, with no other considerations in mind. Because of this early training, Heero has become what many people call
"the Perfect Soldier", because of his total focus on the mission, his taciturnity, and his phenomenal threshold for pain.
He did not receive any real love from Doctor J, and, while he is well versed in politics and tactics, it is very unlikely that he ever played on a swing. At the beginning of the anime, all of Heero's energy is devoted to completing his missions. Later in the series… well, most of it still is. Anyway, he has been known to self-destruct rather than surrender or risk revealing himself and he spends hours on his laptop, researching and hacking into OZ files. He does not waste time or energy with excessive talking; instead, his usual response is "Hn" or "Omae o korosu" ("I will kill/destroy you"). He also has incredible tolerance for pain. Heero is surly to almost everyone, including the other Gundam pilots, and does not seem to consider anyone to be his friend. ("Seem" is the operative word there…) |
