| INFORMATION: | Duo is an enigma. He calls himself Shinigami, or God of
Death. He grew up on the L2 colony cluster. While nothing is known about
his actual family, Duo grew up in the Maxwell Church Orphanage. He is the
sole survivour of the massacre that claimed the life of Father Maxwell
(where he received his last name), Sister Helen (the only mother figure in
his life and the first person to braid his hair for him), and all the
remaining children there. The Federation is responsible for that,
and so Duo's will to fight against Romefeller, OZ, and the Alliance
is strong and burning. Before Duo came to the orphanage, he was a small
time thief on the streets.
While he is normally seen smiling and joking around, Duo's mood can change at any moment. His serious side is scary, and is usually is the last thing that enemies see before dying. However, this is not the only side to Duo. He is a good friend, comrade, companion, and pilot. While he may joke around, Duo takes his missions very seriously, as well as all the training he received. Duo also may be found cavorting around with Howard and the Sweepers aboard the Peacemillion, and is the first person to offer friendship to Heero, the Perfect Soldier. |
