"Goku, are you okay?" Bulma asked, plopping down on the couch next to her friend.
"Ah." Goku answered, pressing his hands to his eyes.
"Are… Are you crying?" she asked, completely amazed. She’d never seen him so upset.
"I just wish she were happy." He whispered.
"Oh, Goku, she is. You, of all people, should know how she gets sometimes." Bulma said, scooting a little bit closer, resting a hand on his broad back, patting lightly.
"Yeah, I guess so… I didn’t think of that."
Bulma watched as he lifted his head from his hands, his eyes somewhat watery. Straightening her back, she lifter her chin to get a better view out the window. Everyone was talking, as if nothing had happened. She never would understand why their get-togethers worked so much better here.
"Why don’t you go in the kitchen and get you something to eat? Then, you can come outside and visit some more." Bulma suggested, rising to her feet.
Goku nodded, smiling to her in thanks, and watching as she stepped out the door, returning to the group. As he too rose to his feet, he could see that no one except himself was upset. That was good. Last thing he wanted was to be the cause of another reunion being ruined.
Everyone looked to Bulma when she returned, "Don’t worry," she said through a sincere smile, "He’s fine. Just getting something to eat."
"Good old Goku." Tien said, smiling as well. He was glad to hear that no feelings had been hurt.
Vejita knew better, however, he could feel that Kakarotto was still upset. He should have been the one to follow him inside and comfort him. Slowly, he rose from his chair, turning to head to the house.
"Vejita, don’t worry. He’s fine." Bulma repeated, watching as he continued to walk.
"I’m just going to go make sure." He said, reassuring everyone that his intentions were pure.
Once the prince had entered the house, everyone turned their attention back to one another. Gohan could see in the cold prince’s eyes just how much he cared. He was sure now that he completely accepted this relationship.
"I never thought that Goku and Vejita would be gay." Oolong said, making a face.
"It’s weird… But I guess it makes sense." Yamcha said, sipping from his cold beverage.
"Yeah." Tien agreed.
"I wish I hadn’t blown up like that." Chi-Chi said regretfully.
"No biggy… You know Goku, he’s cool." Bulma said, resting her elbows on the table.
Chi-Chi smiled. Bulma was right. No need to worry over it. She just needed to keep her mood in check.
"Always thought that boy was funny…" Roshi said, pausing to guzzling at his third beer, "When he was a boy he couldn’t tell the difference between a babe and a dog."
"No need to even go into the fact that he had to touch people to be able to tell if they were guys or girls." Krillin added. With that everyone burst into laughter.
"Kakarotto?" Vejita questioned, turning a corner.
"In here." Goku said, watching as Vejita stepped into the room.
"I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to upset you." Vejita said quietly, refusing to allow anyone to over hear his soft side.
"It wasn’t you." Goku said, licking his fingers, sucking away the last of what was once a large sandwich.
Vejita tried his best to ignore the suggestiveness of Kakarotto’s movements, "When can we go?"
"Oh, come on… Just a little longer." Goku said, whining somewhat at first.
"Hn… Fine. It’s just hard to handle your weak Ningen friends." The prince said through a smirk, taking a seat at the round kitchen table.
"They’ll get used to it." Goku said, reassuring himself as he tilted his head to the side, rubbing his neck in a relaxing manner. Surely, Chi-Chi was going to be more trouble. He just wished she were happy.
"Hey, you hungry?" Goku asked, turning to open the fridge, and leaning over to see what all there was, trying not to think about his ex-wife.
"Nnn…" Vejita voiced, taking in the beauty of Kakarotto’s ass, his tail hovering in the air, "I am hungry."
"Well, there’s a lot of stuff in here. Whatcha want?" Goku questioned, turning to look at his prince.
"Baka… All I want is you." Vejita said, motioning for his mate to come to him.
Goku smiled, stepping over to his mate. At Vejita’s request, he straddled the prince’s lap.
"Something’s still bothering you." Vejita said, firmly grasping Kakarotto’s ass, holding him tightly against him.
"I just…" Goku started, pausing to moan as their erections pressed together, "I just wish everyone understood… I wish Chi-Chi was happy."
"Try not to worry. Things like this take time. Are you sure that’s all that’s bothering you?" Vejita questioned just before giving Kakarotto a deep kiss.
"Nnn…" Goku said as their lips parted. He was trying his best not to think about the fact that Vejita hadn’t proclaimed his love. It had slipped into his thoughts for a second and his prince had seen it. Smiling lightly, he pushed it from his mind, shaking his head in reply.
"Sometimes I can see sadness in your eyes…" Vejita started, planting another wet kiss on the taller man’s talented lips. He knew exactly what troubled the man, but he was working on it.
"Have I broken your heart?" Vejita whispered through a smirk.
Goku grinned at the emotion in the question, nodding, "Just… Just kiss me and tell me its not broken…" he whispered back, lowering his head for another kiss.
Vejita slipped his tongue into the warm mouth, gently biting at Kakarotto’s bottom lip. He could hear the low rumble of thunder and slowly pulled back.
Goku ignored the sound, pulling Vejita’s lips to his, "Just kiss me and kiss me ‘til I’m dead…" he said their lips brushing together with each word.
Vejita cracked another smirk, pressing his lips to Kakarotto’s for a much fiercer kiss.
----------------------------
Chi-Chi looked up at the darkening clouds, "I think it’s going to rain." Just as she said it, large, cold drops began to fall from the sky, instantly drenching everything.
"Ahhh! Come on… Let’s get inside!" Bulma exclaimed, running for the house, followed closely by everyone else.
Once inside, everyone wiped the rain from their brows, slipping their shoes off as they stepped into the warm living room.
"We can just eat in here." Krillin said, taking a seat next to his wife on the fluffy couch.
Vejita slid a hand up from it’s comfortable position on Kakarotto’s firm ass to the base of the younger Saiyajin’s tail. They both knew well of the pleasure that could be generated from their tails. Gently, he ran the tips of his fingers through the downy fur, causing Kakarotto to moan into the kiss, breaking it after a while to let his moan escape.
"Did you guys here something?" Yamcha asked, trying to confirm whether or not he’d heard a moan come from the kitchen. A few of the others nodded, following as he stepped closer to the kitchen. They poked their heads in the large doorway, more than a little surprised at what they saw.
Vejita licked over the younger Saiyajin’s lips, "You taste better… Than any food…" he whispered through heavy breaths as he broke the wet, passionate kiss.
Goku smiled, licking his own lips to taste the sweet taste of Vejita that still remained, moaning quietly.
Bulma, Chi-Chi, Yamcha, Roshi, Tien, Krillin, Gohan, and Videl’s eyes were all bulging. There was Goku straddling Vejita’s hips, his hands holding the prince’s face gently as they kissed. And had Vejita just said… What he said?
Vejita turned his head, looking at their audience, smirking.
Goku followed his prince’s gaze, letting a blush run over his cheeks as he cleared his throat.
The others quickly looked away, occupying themselves with coughing or thumb twiddling as they stepped into the small kitchen.
"Uh… It’s raining out. So, we’re going to eat inside." Krillin said, watching as his best friend climbed off of the prince.
"Eh, sorry ‘bout that, guys." Goku said, letting a hand find it’s way to the back of his head as he began laughing.
Soon, the others joined him, letting the discomfort of the moment slip away.
‘Kakarotto, let’s go.’
Goku nodded, knowing that this was really hard for his beloved prince, "Well, guys, I thinks we’re goin’ ta go ahead and go."
"Dad!" Goten called as he and Trunks clomped into the crowded room, "You goin’?"
Smiling, Goku lifted his young son into the air, pulling him close for a hug, "Yup." Then, he noticed the boy standing only a few feet away. Trunks. He looked so sad.
‘Vejita, look at your son. He needs you…’
Vejita glanced down at the lavender haired boy. He did look rather sad. Slowly, the prince crouched down until he was eye level with his son. He reached a hand out, patting the boy on the head.
Trunks looked up, surprised by the strange show of affection, "You going too, Dad?"
Vejita nodded, keeping his face serious.
"See ya?" Trunks asked quietly, a little embarrassed.
Vejita nodded again, rising to look at his mate, who was smiling like a fool, "Let’s go."
Goku looked to all his friends, nodding a simple goodbye as he came to Gohan, "I’m really happy for you, Dad." Gohan said, watching as his father’s smile grew, if that was possible.
"Well, see ya." Goku said as he and Vejita stepped out onto the porch, blasting off into the rain.
"Wow!" Roshi said, slurping up the last of his fifth beer, "Talk about a show!"
Krillin slapped a hand to his forehead in embarrassment. He was getting more than a little drunk.
"Well, they did look happy, didn’t they?" Chi-Chi said shyly.
"Well, yeah!" Bulma said, laughing, "They were practically getting it on right here in the kitchen!"
"Gohan, you know your family and friends are really weird, right?" Videl said, looking up at her handsome best friend boyfriend to be.
"Yeah, I know." Gohan said through a smile, watching the two energy trails in the sky as they slowly faded.
