Session 26: "The Real Folk Blues, Pt. 2"

So, Spike has finally found Julia, who is holding a gun to his face! Not a real cheery greeting. Eventually, though, she gives in and drops the gun to embrace Spike.

The two head to Annie's shop and find Annie, nearly dead, though she is happy that Spike and Julia have finally found each other. Annie dies and Spike begins to dig into a box of guns and ammo, telling Julia to leave. She doesn't want Spike to stay and fight, but she also doesn't want to lose him again and refuses to leave. A gun fight breaks out, and Julia is caught in the crossfire, dieing in Spike's hands.

On the Bebop, Spike returns and has some touching moments with Jet and some over-emotional moments with Faye. Faye wants to know why he is going to die. Spike merely tells her that he's not going to die; he's going to find out if he was ever really alive.

After some serious gun fighting, Spike makes it up to the top of the Syndicate's tower, where Vicious is waiting for him. The two duel, and Vicious is killed. Spike makes it downstairs, points at the guards, and says

"...Bang."

Spike's wounds are too much, and he dies on the steps of the Syndicate's headquarters.
