Session 17: "Musroom Samba"

THe gangs on board the Bebop, no food and drifting without fuel for one week. Everything, even the emergency rations, are gone. At there current rate, they would drift and land on a small planet...until they get hit by another ship, knocking them out of orbit and into the middle of nowhere. The plan is for Jet and Spike to repair the ship while Faye searches for food, until Faye suddenly gets very sharp stomach pains. Turns out, the rations have been expired for one year...ah, poetic justice.

Anyway, Ed's the only one who can go out for food. On the way, she runs into an afro sporting bounty hunter, a mushroom dealer, and a man with a coffin searching for vengence. The bounty hunter is arrested, the mushroom dealer gets away, and the coffin is destroyed. Ed steals a bunch of mushrooms and takes them back to the Bebop, only to find that they're inedible...by making everyone else eat them.

Anyhoo, Ed follows the trail to the site of the mushroom dealers ship, and finds out it's the one that hit them! Ed chases the dealer and gets a bag of mushroom, which is supposedly worth millions in wulong.

Back on the Bebop, the others are caught with the 'shrooms by a cop, who identifies them...as perfectly legal, cheap, common mushrooms.
