So, Goku and company stumble upon the pirates cave, only to be hunted down by a deadly robot! Krillin and Bulma run ahead, leaving Goku clues as to where to go, while Goku deals with the robot. Blue, however, follows Krillin and Bulma, changing the arrows so that Goku goes in the wrong direction!
After crushing the robot, Goku heads off to find Krillin and Bulma. However, he falls for Blue's trap and is sent down into the unknown depths of the cave...
Krillin and Bulma find the pirates treasure, but it appears to be a little tough. There are three treasure chests in front of a statue. Bulma instinctively opens the first, and a pirate jumps out and opens fire! It turns out to be a fake, though. Meanwhile, General Blue is close behind, and has found the others.
Goku, on the other hand, is busy dealing with an octopus-thing that General Blue tricked him into running into. Goku copes with the beast.
Bulma finally opens the right box and finds a key, which she uses in a key hole in the statue. Out pours hundreds of gems! Blue interferes, and Krillin attempts to fight him.
Goku, hearing the screams of his friends, heads in that direction.
Back at the fight, Blue uses a special technique that freezes Krillin hin place! He then rather easily stomps the bald-headed boy. Goku, however, shows up just in time and jumps into the brawl. It's time for Goku to fight with General Blue!
Goku is accidentally frozen by General Blue, who is about to shoot him point blank with a rifle. Goku, however, is saved by a small mouse who frightens the incredibly vain General Blue. Goku is able to knock out General Blue, but th cave begins to crumble. Krillin and Bulma head out, but Goku stays behind for something. Goku jumps into the small pond and grabs the Dragon Ball, then heads back out to grab the mouse who saved him, putting him in his mouth for safe-keeping. Goku heads out, but the building is crumbling around him! Can he save himself, or is this really the end of Goku?
Goku is able to escape from the Pirate Cave with just seconds to spare. The group takes an old Pirate sub and flees. The sub dies, but Goku uses a Kamehamea Wave to get them out.
Outside, Goku's Dragon Ball was a bust, as it's just the three star ball. However, it wasn't entirely bust, as Bulma flashes a large diamond. She then gives the diamond to Roshi to compensate for the AirSub that was inadvertantly destroyed.
On Roshi's Island, Launch's other side steals the diamond. In the confusion of the theft, no one notices General Blue, alive and well, landing on the island!
General Blue traps the gang in ropes which he controls mentally, one of which ensnares Goku's tail and renders him powerless. He then sets a bomb down which will detonate in five minutes and escapes with all the Dragon Balls.
Back at Kame House, Launch arrives just in time to save the day, cutting Goku free and allowing him to throw out the bomb. Goku pursues on the Flying Nimbus and the two are going so fast that they get lost! Blue realizes he is in a place where there are no other Red Ribbon Army camps, and uses a Turbo button to stun Goku. However, while gloating, he crashes into a mountain side, while Goku lands safely.
But now, Goku is stuck in a strange place with strange people. Where is he, and what is going on?!
On Penguin Island, Goku meets Arale, a young girl who can move almost as fast as the Flying Nimbus. The two spread out, looking for Blue and the Dragon Balls. Goku finally remembers he can use the Dragon Radar, but it is broken again. So, Goku takes it to Arale's father, Sembei, to have it fixed. Little does he know, General Blue is on the way to steal Sembei's airplane!
After getting the Dragon Radar fixed, Goku heads to find the Dragon Balls, which are remarkably close. Goku stumbles over Blue after a while, who freezes him and is about to kill him when Arale steps in and shows him how to play tag. Poor Blue is thrown high up in the air, and Goku is able to depart with all the Dragon Balls.
