Ronan was a gambler(this takes place before janice disappered)and when he plots to steal maria from the opera house,janice pretends to be maria and she gets kidnapped,they catch up to her and ronan has to decided with a coin flip if the want to join the group,or if he will marry janice.He loses and he joins the group.he is a very good part of the group with his slot machine attack.
