Recap: The Toucanmon are seen greeting the Chosen Children into their restaurant. Then, Tomoki, Junpei, and Takuya are seen in the beach relaxing and swimming around while Bokomon and Neemon lay on the sand. Back at the restaurant, the Chosen Children are looking for their D-Scans, but none can be found...but Izumi still has hers. The Toucanmon have the D-Scans! The Chosen Children go looking for them and Tomoki finds them. The Toucanmon run and the Chosen are about to follow until Ranamon bursts up from the water. Izumi Spirit Evolved to Fairymon to try and stop Ranamon. No luck. Ranamon and Fairymon are surrounded by water, therefore, Ranamon has the upper hand. Calmaramon is then seen whipping Fairymon to the ground and then flying away because she is unable to control her Titanic Charge attack.

Episode 16: "Just Being Strong Isn't Enough! The Beautiful Warrior, Shutumon"

The Chosen Children are still on the island looking for the Toucanmon. Takuya is looking through some bushes and Kouji climbs up a tree to look for them. Izumi, Junpei, and Tomoki are on the beaches shore. Junpei bends down by the beach and a crab grabs his butt! He screams and starts running around while Tomoki follows. Izumi looks into a barrel of water...and looks at her reflection. Neemon is seen pulling Bokomon's pant open.

"Toucanmon..."

Bokomon realizes this and yells at him.

The Toucanmon are on the other side of the island, looking at their Ranamon Fan Club things. They all sit back in a depressed mood because they're not in the Ranamon Fan Club anymore. Calmaramon scared them too much. They all looking at the D-Scans sitting a few feet away form them. Since they couldn't give the D-Scans to Ranamon to show their appreciation to her, they decide to throw them into the beach. They are thrown and one Toucanmon snatches them all before they hit the water. He flies back to the others, explaining how they should go trade them for something. The Toucanmon all agree and fly off.

The Chosen Children are at a shack, taking a break form looking for the Toucanmon. A conversation starts about Calmaramon and Izumi's Beast Spirit. Since Ranamon was something pretty turned ugly, the others imagine Fairymon as a beast. Izumi snaps them out of it, as she starts yelling at them saying something like "That won't happen!" Neemon joins in and Izumi gets furious. She pulls back his pants and lets them go, causing them to snap on Neemon. They continue the conversation and Izumi yells at them more. Takuya spots the Toucanmon in the air and alerts the others about them.

The Toucanmon are tired and they struggle to stay up in the air. They continue flying and talking and all of a sudden, they start to fall. A second later, they are seen struggling to get back up to where they where. One Toucanmon is holding another Toucanmon as he flies. They see the island ahead and start descending.

Tomoki points to where they are headed. Takuya starts running towards the other island and Izumi follows. As they run in the water, Takuya trips on something and Izumi stops, wondering what just happened. Takuya emerges form the water and sees something holding his leg. He looks at it in a shocked look...wondering what the heck it is. More of these monsters appear...they are all Gomamon! Izumi looks at one...

"KAWAII!!"

She picks one up and hugs it.

Back at the Evil Hybrids' lair, Calmaramon is laughing about how she finally got her Beast Spirit and is bragging about it to Mercuremon. Calmaramon starts going out of control and starts wrecking it.

Back on the island, a Gomamon is talking to the Chosen Children. They tell them a story on how they other island used to be their home with many other Gomamon. They say that whirlpools appeared by the island and took that group of Gomamon away from their home. Izumi looks at the island and then at the Gomamon. She starts talking to all of them and finally she says she will help them get their home back. Takuya, Kouji, Tomoki, Junpei, Bokomon, and Neemon all agree to help with her. Izumi smiles as all the Gomamon cheer for them.

*COMMERCIAL (Izumi/Fairymon Eye catch)*

They whole group of them are building a raft to get to the other island. Kouji is cutting down a tree and Izumi is gathering material to make the sail. On the sand, Junpei is making a sketch of what the raft should look like. Takuya comes and looks at it...realizing the picture shows a huge boat! He scratches his head and looks at Junpei like he's crazy.

At the lair, Calmaramon is still bragging about her Beast Spirit to Mercuremon. He says something to and she reverts back to Ranamon.

At the island, the group is putting the sail in place. Takuya points ahead and they start to move. Ahead they can see the whirlpools that the Gomamon were talking about. This isn't going to be easy. Izumi looks to the side and screams so the others look. A huge wave is coming towards them! They get dunked but come back up quickly. Two water towers burst up form the water and a third one follows. Ranamon appears at the top of the third. The Chosen Children all look at her and Izumi have a mean face on her. She has to teach Ranamon a lesson...

"SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"

"FAIRYMON!"

Fairymon appears in front of Ranamon...

"DOPPIO PERFORARE!"

Ranamon easily blocks this by controlling the other water towers to go in front of her. Fairymon flies back and sees Ranamon sitting on the same tower...

"BREZZA PETALO!"

Ranamon easily blocks this again the same way. Ranamon snaps her fingers and a black cloud appears above Fairymon. A red ball of light appears on Ranamon's finger...

"RAIN STREAM!"

The black cloud above Fairymon unleashes powerful rain on her. She starts to fall and lands in one of the whirlpools.

"IZUMIIIIIIII!"

Takuya screams as she disappears into the water. Inside the whirlpool, Fairymon reverts back to Izumi. A strange light surrounds her and below her she sees a huge clam. The clam opens up revealing the Beast Spirit of Wind!

"Beast Spirit..."

She floats down more and takes out her D-Scan...

"BEAST SPIRIT!"

A light shines as the Spirit flies into Izumi's D-San. Izumi holds the D-Scan to her chest and she starts flying up.

Back above the water, the rest of the Chosen Children are looking into the water to try and find her. A conversation starts between them and Ranamon. Ranamon spots something moving to the side of her. A water tower bursts up from the spot, revealing Izumi at the top. The Chosen Children are happy to see her but Ranamon isn't. Izumi looks at Ranamon with a determined look and...

"SPIRIT EVOLUTION!"

"YAAA!"

"SHUTUMON!"

Ranamon looks at her with anger. She yells at Shutumon because she is prettier and Izumi is able to control Shutumon. Shutumon says something to her that gets her even madder...

"JEALOUSY RAIN!"

Black smoke flies from Ranamon's hand and incases Shutumon. Shutumon just looks at her like she's stupid. Shutumon's body starts to shine and red balls of energy appear on her hand and feet...

"GILGAMESH SLICER!"

Shutumon flies toward Ranamon as she screams. Shutumon easily slices through Ranamon's water tower causing her to fly into the water.

Junpei's eyes shine as he looks at Shutumon. Ranamon appears from the water and is furious...

"RANAMON!"

"SLIDE EVOLUTION!"

"CALMARAMON!"

Calmaramon jumps up form the water and looks at Shutumon...

"NERO CORSO!"

Black ink flies out of her mouth at Shutumon. Shutumon jumps away and Calmaramon follows, attacking every time but missing. Calmaramon looks at the others and aims an attack at them. Shutumon flies toward the attack and smacks it away with one of her claws. Calmaramon goes mad and fires three attacks at her. Shutumon smacks all of them away and Calmaramon grabs her with a tentacle when she wasn't looking. Calmaramon squeezes hard, hurting Shutumon. Out of anger, Junpei yells at her calling her something like "UGLY!" Calmaramon looks at him with anger and he hides behind the sail. The others join in and soon all of them are yelling at her. Calmaramon gets distracted by this and releases her grip on Shutumon giving her just enough room to escape. Calmaramon realizes that she got away and looks at Shutumon flying up higher into the sky...

"WIND OF PAIN!"

Calmaramon gets hit and flies back into the water. Shutumon hovers in the air while the others look at Calmaramon. Calmaramon flies up into the air and...

"TITANIC CHARGE!"

She starts going towards the Chosen Children, but flies away...again.

The scene is cut to show the Chosen Children, Bokomon, Neemon, and all the Gomamon back at their home. The whirlpools were caused be the Beast Spirit of Wind and now that Izumi has it, they disappeared. The Gomamon walk up to the Chosen Children and thank them. Izumi runs up to Kouji and Takuya and hugs them, thanking them for their help. Junpei and Tomoki yell at Izumi saying they want hugs too. Izumi hugs them both and they all smile. Kouji asks the Gomamon if they know where the Toucanmon are. The Gomamon say they were headed towards the city. Looks like that's where they are going!

Episode 17 Preview:

The Chosen Children are on their raft, sliding down and icy mountain. They land right in front of the City. Inside, many Digimon are walking around, including the Toucanmon. Tomoki is seen inside a store run by Nanomon. He has all the D-Scans now! Arbormon is seen breaking through a wall in Nanomon's shop. He is seen about to Slide Evolve to Petaldramon. Takuya and Kouji are seen about to attack Petaldramon before he whips them away with his tail. Tomoki is seen holding up his D-Scan and Petaldramon using Leaf Cyclone. Blizzarmon is then seen yelling as his axes fall from the sky. He disappears and Petaldramon looks around in a scared look. Blizzarmon is then falling from the sky, ready to attack with his axes.
