The nightair was cold. So cold that even the furriest dog knew better than to gooutside. The streets were abandoned, stores were closing early, and smoke fromfireplaces could be seen left and right. Why then was a young, pretty girl outthere, wandering around? A girl with sea-blue hair....
Bulmawandered around for what seemed like eons. The freezing breeze didn’t seem to takeit’s effect on her as she trailed on endlessly, not knowing where she wasgoing, not caring. He hit me! She kept screaming in her mind over andover again. He actually hit me! That worthless son-of-a-bitch dared to puthis paws on me! Her mind wandered back to a few hours before, when she andVegita had the biggest fight in their lives....

Bulmascreamed as an owl swooped down right past her. Jumping out of her thoughts,she stood where she was for a few minutes, trying to calm her speeding heart.It wasn’t until she caught her breath that she looked around her and finallyrealized that she had no clue where she was. She was deep into the woods. Shewalked for about ten minutes, trying to find a way out, only to wind up morelost. Oh, this is great...JUST great!!!
Stillrefusing to except the fact that she was totally lost, Bulma wandered around alittle bit more. Finally coming to the realization, she leaned against a tree,tears of frustration and pain pouring down her face. Dammit, Vegita, if itweren’t for YOU, I’d be in my own house, in my own room, in my own bed. But,NO, I have to be out here in the freezing wind, lost in the woods. Bulmascreamed in her head. Oh, who am I kidding? If I hadn’t snapped back at him,I COULD be still at home. Why do you always have to mess everything up, Bulma?!Why couldn’t you just...” Bulma’sthoughts trailed off as she heard the snap of a twig behind her. Whirlingaround, she found nothing awaiting her but darkness and more trees.
“H-hello?”she called out nervously. No answer. “Is someone there?”
Bulma letout a scream as a hand came around her from behind, covering her mouth andblocking her scream. She struggled, trying to elbow whoever it was in thegroin. She only succeeded in having her arm grabbed and twisted. She let out ahowl of pain as she felt her arm snap. Falling limply against the figure holdher, she looked up at his face.
“You!” shemoaned before blacking out.

“Ahh!!”Vegita jumped awake as the phone jangled on its stand. Glaring at the devicethat woke him up, he sat there, watching it. The thought suddenly registered inhim mind that it might be Bulma calling. Jumping up, Vegita ran to the phone,putting his hand on it before he realized that Bulma wouldn’t be calling,because she knew that he was the only one home and that he never answered thephone.
Bulma.....
Vegitaglanced at the digital clock on the kitchen counter. 2:54am. 2:54?! How longhad he been asleep? Bulma stormed out after a fight around 10:30pm. He hadobviously fallen asleep, waiting for her.
Vegitawalked over to the kitchen window, peering out. Where was she? There was no wayshe could’ve gotten to Kakkarot’s, seeing as she doesn’t know to fly. Damnyou, woman, you make me get a cramp in my neck from falling asleep on thetable, WAITING for YOU, then almost have a heart attack when the phone rang,then...wait a minute...phone? Who would be calling at 3 in the morning?Vegita’s thoughts were interupted by the sound of the phone ringing again. Thistime, he sprinted for it, answering it on the second ring.
“Hello?Hello?” He yelled into it. No answer. “Hello?” He asked again. Again, nothing.Cursing, Vegita was about to hang up the phone when he heard it.
Softly,impossible to be heard by the human ear, he heard a sound through the phone. Afaint, distant sound. The sound of a woman crying.
Just so you all know, this doesn’t happen before when mystory starts. I actually took a part of the story and cut it down and used itas the prologue to keep you intrested. Hehe...don’t ya just love me? Anwayz, Iadded the last part about Vegita in mostly to make sure you all knew thatVegita wasn’t the one that who grabbed Bulma. Want to know who it was?
