While the fighting was over for those on Earth, Goku's journey was just begining. King Kai and Goku were on their way to see the Grand Kai, a kai above all others. Before that however, they met West Kai and Pikkon his prized pupil. Then the Grand Kai made his entrance. He told Pikkon that Cell and some others were reaking havok on the HFIL (Home For Infinite Loosers). Pikkon went on his way, and Goku followed. They arrived at the HFIL to see that Cell, Frieza, King Cold, and the Ginyu Force (Excluding Captain Ginyu) were waiting. Goku fought all of the Ginyu force. But Pikkon, the misterious warrior proved to need no help defeating Cell and the group after all. When they returned to the Grand Kai's planet the West, South, East, and Grand Kai's decided it would be a good idea to have a tournament due to the death of North Kai (Goku's King Kai). The Grand Kai even offered to give a free lesson to the winner of the fight. They chose their teams and started. The competition was made up of the oddest, most powerful beings in the universe. All of Goku's rounds proved easy until the final round when he went up against Pikkon. When Pikkon proved not to be strong enough to beat Goku he dropped off his weighted clothing, showing his true self. He was to fast for Goku to beat. So he went super saiyan. In his new S.S. form they were still matched in power and speed. Finally Goku found a way to attack Pikkon while he was performing his strongest move. Finally he beat him but there was a problem. The Grand Kai was too out of shape to fight so he made a loop hole that because both touched the seiling they were disqualified and he would train them both in 230 years. Seven years had now past and things had changed on earth. Gohan was now 18 and starting a real school, Trunks is now 8 years old, and Gohan has a 7 year old son Goten. Krillin has hair and got married to android 18 and they had a daughter Marin. On Gohan's first day of school he met Hercule's (The World Matial Arts Champion, and the person who said he beat Cell)daughter Videl. He slipped up almopst giving away his identity while stopping a bank robing so he had Bulma design him a costume. Unfortinatly Videl found out and black mailed him to teach her, also a champion of martial arts, how to fly and to enter the World Martial Arts Tournament. Gohan had no choice, so he trained her. Durring this time Videl and Gohan started to like each other as friends, and more. Piccolo, Vegeta, Krillin, 18, Trunks, and Goten also decided to enter. One last person had decided to fight. Goku had earned enough credit, so to speak, in other world to come back for one day and take place in the tournament. It would be a time to remember forever.
The day has arrived and the Z Fighters are on their way to the competition. They met up with Goku early and Goten met his father Goku for the first time. Then durring the registration Trunks and Goten found they could not enter the tournament and had to enter the tournament for the kids. The adult fighters had to go through an elimination round using a punching gage which showed who was the most powerful 16. Hercule was automatically let in the tournament because he won the previous one. The Z Fighters tried to keep a low profile but it was tough. Some scored more than double or triple what the average fighter did. Vegeat didn't hold back. He blasted the machine out of existance. Then it was time for the junior division to begin. Trunks and Goten made it to the end without using any of their power. Though all the Z Fighters agreed not to go S.S. to keep a low profile Trunks and Goten went S.S. After some devious moves on Trunks's part, he won the competition. Then it was time for the adult division to begin. The entrants were Vegeta, Goku, Videl, Gohan as the Great Saiyaman, Hercule, Jewel, Killer, Spopovich, Yamu, Shin, Kibito, Krillin, Piccolo, 18, Mighty Mask, and a fat indian guy. Trunks and Goten were still mad about not getting in the tournament so they beat up Mighty Mask, and the two wore the costume together. The first match of the tournament was Krillin against the fat indian guy. Krillin showed that size dosen't matter in a big way. Then it was Piccolo against Shin. But Piccolo forfited before the first punch was thrown. He founda a shocking discovery in the back of Kami's mind. Shin was the Grand Kai. When approching Shin about it he found he wasn't the Grand Kai, but rather the Supreme Kai, one step higher up in command. Kibito was his body gaurd but their mission was still a secret. Piccolo was told not to tell the others about Shin's identity yet. Next Videl went up against Spopovich. At first Videl proved to be much stronger but Spopovich proved to have secret evil powers he never had before. After nearly killing Videl he won the fight. Goku went to get senzu beans from Korin and Yajarobi. Goku came back and gave Videl the medicine. Then it was Gohan's turn to fight the giant Kibito. Kibito asked to see Gohan's Super Saiyan powers so he did. At this time Spopovich and Yamu attacked. They were draining the life out of him with a strange device. Gohan could have gotten free but the Supreme Kai had strained him with his mind. It was then that Supreme Kai told them the truth. An evil wizard Bibidi created a forrible beaast named Majin Buu who almost destroyed the universe. But the Kai's were able to stop Bibidi while Buu was stuck in a ball where he was stored. Buu was left on Earth and now Babidi, Bibidi's son is back to revive Buu. They had to let Spopovich and Yamu to steal Gohan's energy so that they could follow the two under Babidi's control to Babidi's ship. With that Supreme Kai, Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Krillin took off after the two. Meanwhile Kibito used his hidden powers to heal Gohan. The two wnet to cath up to the others.
All of the Z Fighters make it to Babidi's ship as Spopovich and Yamu returned. After handing over the power to Babidi, Babidi mercylessly killed them both because he had no other use for them. Babidi and one of his servants Pui Pui went inside, but Dabura the Demon King stayed. Somehow they knew that the Supreme Kai was there. Dabura flew up and blasted Kibito to bits, then spit on Krillin and Piccolo and returned inside. Then Piccolo and Krillin turned to stone. The Supreme Kai said the only way to cure their friends was to kill Dabura. So the remaining Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, and Supreme Kai went into the ship. They had to go thru rounds. Their were three battle levels on the ship and they had to beat all three to advance to Babidi. First Pui Pui came out. Vegeta decided to handle him alone. Pui Pui didn't stand a chance, even after Babidi switched the arena into Pui Pui's home planet. Then they went into the second level. Babidi knew now that they were strong so he sent his second best fighter for stage two. Yakon was a giant green beast with large blades on his hands. Goku and Yakon fought and once again Goku was winning until Babidi transported them to Yakon's planet which was pitch black. Yakon was the only one who could see. So Goku went super saiyan, and now he could see. This also presented a problem. Yakon's special attack suck energy fromn people so he sucked out Goku's S.S. powers. So Goku brought out all of his power and Yakon took in so much energy he exploded. Meanwhile on Earth because so many fighters left they had to have a battle royal to decide the winner. Jewel and Killer were the first two out. Then 18 went after Mighty Mask. They fought emensly well until Goten and Trunks had to Go S.S. and 18 found out who they were. Then Trunks and Goten were disqualified. The two little troublemakers zoomed off as quick as they could. They met up with Videl and she told them all about Babidi and Majin Buu. They went to go fight. Then while having Hercule in a head lock she told him she'd throw the fight if Hercule payed her two times the prize money. Hercule agreed and won the championship. It was time for stage 3. The third opponent was Dabura. It was now Gohan's turn. They fought and their powers were about equal, but then Dabura noticed the evil inside of Vegeta and went to Babidi to retrive the information. Then Babidi turned Vegeta evil with his mind control powers. He transported them to the tournament where they were to fight but Goku refused. So Vegeta blew up part of the arena to force him. Goku now agreed to it. So Babidi transported them somewhere else uninhabited to fight. The two rivals started to fight. They were very evenly matched. Goku finally convinced Vegeta to fight Buu, but Vegeta knocked Goku out so that he could have all the credit for beating Buu. At this time Supreme Kai and Gohan had made it to Babidi but it was to late. Majin Buu was alreay being released!
Majin Buu was released but he wasn't what was expected. He was a fat jolly looking thing. But he proved to have the horrible power that they was said to have. First he beat Gohan and the Supreme Kai strained him again so he could not keep fighting and die. Trunks and Goten then showed up and found the Piccolo and Krillin statues. Not knowing what they were Trunks accidentaly broke the Piccolo statue. Then Dabura went against Babidi's creature. He warned Babidi that he could only hold a power like that for so long, but Babidi didn't listen. Buu truned Dabura into a giant cookie and ate him. Then the Krillin statue returned to be Krillin and then Trunks knew what he had done. Then Piccolo walked around the corner. Trunks didn't know that Piccolo could regenerate. Then Majin Vegeta showed up. He fought Majin Buu but it was pointless, then Trunks and Goten went to help him. Vegeta knocked them both out and told Piccolo to take them as far away as possible. The four remaining Z Fighters left the scene as Vegeta turned himself into a giant bomb and blew himself and Buu up.But it didn't work Buu just revived himself and Babidi and Buu started to reak havoc on Earth. All of the Z Fighters and their families to the look out where they were safe for the moment, but Trunks, Goten, and Piccolo were what the gruesome twosome was after. Goku woke up and went to the look out and got healed then he went to fight Majin Buu while Trunks got the dragon ball scouter. He showed a new form called S.S.3 and then tricked Buu into killing Babidi. Then he went to the look out to teach Goten and Trunks how to do the fusion while the others went out and got the dragonballs. They wished back all the people killed that day exept for bad guys, but Goku hadn't wanted them to do that so they saved the last wish for later. The Suprme Kai found Kibito who was revived by the dragon balls and they both went to find Gohan. They brought him back to the Supreme Kai planet to get the Z Sword. After showing Goten and Trunks Goku had to return to the other world early because he used up so much energy on S.S.3. When he was returned he went to see Gohan at the Supreme Kai planet. One he found out about the Z Sword training he helped Gohan out. But they accidentaly destoyed it and out came and old guy. It was the supreme kai from 15 generations ago. He said he could unlock Gohan's hidden powers.
Finally Goten and Trunks got the Fusion right and went to fight Buu. They lost and returned to the lookout. At this time Hercule went to trie to trick Buu and kill him but nothing worked. Then he became friends with him. Buu found a sick puppy and healed him. Then Buu promised never to hurt again, but hen his good and bad sides split. Out of Buu came an skinny Buu (Evil Buu). They fought but Good Buu was eaten by Evil Buu, and he transformed into Super Buu who now knew how to find the lookout. Piccolo told Goten and Trunks to go in the tme chamber to train so they did. When Super Buu showed up Piccolo convinced him to wait for about 30 minutes and led him to Goten and Trunks. The two fuse and become Gotenks. They fight Buu but can't win so they go S.S. even with all of their techniques they couldn't win so Piccolo closed the door. and they were stuck in, but in a loud screem by Buu he was able to go back but Trunks and Piccolo were still stuck. Buu turned all of those on the look out into chocolate and ate them. Then Gotenks went S.S.3 and screemed their way out aswell. Then the fought Buu for real. They beat him up. They were even in power but then their fusion wore off. Then Gohan arrived. He had finished his mystical training and attacke Buu. Buu knew he could not win so he hid for an hour until Goten and Trunks could fuse again. when they did Buu returned and absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo recieving Increased power and knowledge. Now Gohan was the one too weak. Then Elder Kai gave him his remaining life and a pair of earings for a permanent efortless fusion. Goku came to Earth and Gotenks's fusion died inside4 of Buu making him only Piccolo so Goku and Gohan didn't fuse, and that was a big mistake because Buu absorbed Gohan. At this time the supreme Kai and Kibito got fused by the Kai earings into Kibitoshin. Goku was running out of time to fuse with someone but then Vegeta showed up. King Yama let him go to stop Majin Buu. It took some persasion but Goku finally talked Vegeta into fusing with him, leaving out the fact until the last minute that it was permenant. They became Vegito, a new warrior that even Gohan Buu could not beat. Vegito even threw a beam that would destroy Earth effortlessly before going S.S. but his win didn't last long. Buu had some tricks still up his sleve. He finally absorbed Vegito. Inside Buu their fusion wore off. Goku and Vegeta went through Buu's body looking for Gohan and the others. After finding imposters Goku and Vegeta finally found them. They set them free from Buu weekening him back to normal Super Buu. But he was still powerful enough to beat the saiyans. Somehow Buu came inside of himself and they started to fight but they could not beat the towering tyrant. Will they be able to escape with Gohan, Piccolo, and the boys before Buu kills them? It didn't seem that Vegeta and Goku had any chance of beating Buu while inside of him. Vegeta passed out and Goku did all he could to help Vegeta because Buu's power would increase too much! Goku got a new idea. He hit down the Majin Buu pod inside of Super Buu. The removal of the good Buu brought drastic changes. Buu's body started to be destroyed. Goku and Vegeta had to escape with the others still unconcious before they were all destroyed. The finally made it out with some enjinuity but Buu started to change. He became smaller resembeling a child. Goku and Vegeta saw this as a good sign but Kibitoshin knew better that size doesn't always matter. He knew this "Kid" Buu was stronger than any they had faced yet! In his flash backs Kibitoshin Remembers of the first Buu. He was completley heartless and so powerful. He killed all the other Supreme Kais, then he swallowed this weird Kai and then he turned into the happy fat Buu as well as his power was weekend. Buu blows up Earth and the only ones left are Goku, Vegeta, Dende, and Hercule. They fight Buu on the Supreme Kai planet. They fight and lose miserably and goku loses power. Vegeta gets an idea and Dende goes with Ancient Kai and Kibitoshin to planet Namek. Vegeta tells them to wish back Earth. The people of Earth all band together to make a huge spirit bomb. Goku hurls it at Kid Buu, but he is to week. Kid Buu uses the spirit bomb to his advantage and tosses the bomb back at Goku. Vegeta tells Dende to use the other wish to return Goku to full power. It works and the bomb flies to Buu with force. He holds on for awhile but it is to much for him. He finally is destroyed. After the fight Vegeta and Goku stop being rivals and become friends. The next few episodes have the Z Fighters and supporting characters in almost everyday life. In the final chapter of DBZ it is ten years later. Gohan and Videl have a daughter and it is time for another tournnament. All of the Z Fighters enter it. In Goku's first fight he faces a boy named Uub. They fight and Goku knows he will be the next world savior and he and the boy who is Buu's reincarnation only good fly off to train.
