Sakura smiled a little at her friend and they both got up and, after Sakura washed her face, headed to the King Penguin Park. “Hey Sakura, hey Tomoyo.” They heard their friends say as they arrived at the king penguin park. “Hey guys,” Tomoyo and Sakura greeted their friends. All six of the friends had a fun day and after they were done playing on the swings, And of course after Yamazaki’s story about how swings were invented, they all went to the ice cream parlor. “Did you know that ice cream was accidentally invented when a guy in the north pole put milk into his snow cone to make a new flavor-“ Yamazaki was cut off when Chiharu slapped him in the back of the head and told him to shut up. Yamazaki did for fear he might get hit with a club next time. “Sakura, what’s wrong?” Naoko asked when she saw that Sakura hadn’t even touched her chocolate ice cream. Sakura looked startled when she heard her friend and then she said, “Oh, nothin. I’m fine.” Everyone was now looking at Sakura. They figured they wouldn’t get anything out of her for she had already floated back into her own world. So they all had the same idea and turned to Tomoyo. Tomoyo anime sweat dropped and said that she didn’t know, but nobody believed her. “Okay, okay. Come here.” Everyone except Sakura gathered around Tomoyo. In an undertone she said, “Sakura misses Syaoran.” “SYAORAN!” Naoko, Chiharu, Rika and Yamazaki all said aloud. “No! Don’t say his name too loud-“ But Tomoyo was too late. Sakura was already up and shaking the person closest her, who was Yamazaki, and asking him what he knew about Syaoran. “Actually I know a lot. And I have something to make you happy Sakura!” Yamazaki said in a sly voice as he looked at Sakura. “What!” Sakura said, shaking him more, which was very unlike Sakura. |
