Amy is a real genius. There is a rumor going around that she has an I.Q.of 300! She is a very quiet girl and is also very shy in her social life. (Not that she has much though). She spends most of her time studying or reading a good book, and she's always making up excuses like "Well, I have to study" or "I'm only ten chapters ahead." Every time these phrases come out of her mouth, a huge sweatdrop forms on everyone's head. =)

Amy has a little relationship with Greg, who first appeared on the 23rd episode of Sailor Moon, "Mercury's Mental Match." She has a hard time admitting this, and when the scouts start to tease her about Greg being her boyfriend and all, she uses another excuse and says, "I don't have time for a boyfriend with all my school work." (Ugh! Please!) Well, later in "Tuxedo Unmasked", Amy and Greg finally expresses their true feelings for each other and becomes an official couple. ^.^

In Sailor Moon R, Amy gets a chance to study abroad to achieve her dreams of becoming a pediatrician. She nearly leaves for Germany, until Rini and Darien comes to say bye with a little gift from the scouts. She realizes that she isn't ready and asks Darien to take her back home.

Sailor Mercury is the weakest of the inner scouts, but is also the quickest when it comes to reactions and thinking. Her attacks are mostly defensive and are water based, but as the seasons pass by, it seems that it becomes more offensive. She also uses her mini computer and her VR visor to get out of a tight spot, and to find the weaknesses of the enemies during a battle.
