Quatre

Personally, Quatre is the most challenge character to draw. There's just not a huge distinguishing feature! (Duo has a braid, Trowa's got that hair and Wufei has a ponytail!!) Anyways...don't laugh at this tutorial...I did try hard. *sniff*

FACE

I hope you can see his face here. ;) Just stare at it for awhile...okay that's enough on to the tutorial!!

Features
	Eyes: Quatre has pretty decent sized eyes. They actually tend to slant up more. (This pic doesn't show the slant well, the one below does.) But there's the basic shape. Quatre has a very large, elliptical iris (colored part)
	Eyebrows: The eyebrows are often hidden under his bangs, but they are light and blonde. Not too thin or thick.
	Nose: Quatre's got a small nose. It turns up ever so slightly. (Not like Duo's).
	Mouth: The mouth is pretty small too. It's often pictured open. ;) But here are two examples of his mouth. Just a line. ;)

Details
	Now, we've looked at all the features. See how they're positioned in this pic? The mouth is close to the nose and the eyes are pretty far apart compared to the others.
	Jawline: It's not too round or too cheeky. But it's not angular and masculine. Quatre has a finely shaped jawline. As shown.
	Tips: Here's a front shot of Quatre with his jawline highlighted. Not too angluar or round. ;)

Hair
	1. As mentioned...I have a hard time with Quatre's hair. :P He's just got a head of bangs! Ha ha!
	2. I've highlighted the starting line of the main bangs. They fan out around his face. Only 3 bangs go past his eyes. As you can see, some of his spikes don't follow any line, that's okay, make as many dang bangs as you like!
	3. Other than bangs, Quatre also has a part in his hair. See?
	4. The back of his hair, unlike the front is not spikey at all! But unfortunatly, it's not smooth either. BAH! His hair kinda ripples by his neck. See the line? (He's soooooo "serious" in this pic! LOL!)

Steps
	1. Start with the circle. Add a verticle line to center the face and a horizontal line to place the eyes on. I've put tiny dashes on the eyeline to help me put the eyes in the right spot.
	2. I've placed his eyes, farther apart than I would for the other 4 pilots. I've added a nose to help me place the other features. 2b. Quatre has big, bright, innocent eyes. See how I made them slant up slightly? Make the iris a long oval shape. The highlight imitates the iris-shape, but keep it small. Darken the rim of the iris and add the pupil.
	3. I've sketched in the geometric shape of the jaw. I've added the back of the neck in this particular step. I put in the eyebrows too!
	4. I smooth out the angles of the jaw shape and round out the chin. Give him a hint of cheeks! ;D Don't forget his ear! (They have nothing to hide under in this one!)
	5. Hair! (I didn't do a particularly good job on the bangs this time :( ) Just follow my tips for hair, I usually start at the part when I do the back of his hair.
