Chibi
Style Wufei
Chibi style is usually used in dipicting extreme emotions, very small pictures, doujinshi (fan comics), and doodling! SD/Super Deformed/Chibi style is basically a charicature of the character...in a very small size. There are many different ways to approach drawing chibi. Just lemme give a few tips.
| Tips: The most important features should be emphasized in chibi-style. Eyes, hair, and clothes are some defining characteristics. Take a look at my example below. On the left is a screen shot of Wufei. The right is a super deformed version. The key is to simplify. |

Wufei has pretty simple features, even in the anime. (I always have trouble with his eyes.)

Shown here are several styles of SD/Chibi. The first one is done in DomonW style...or it was suppose to. Heh heh. The center one is to show how detailed it can be. I've emphasized his eyes and hair differently. Hair is wispy and eyes are big! The cat is to show that all you need is to get the hair on something. ;)
Proportions: Chibi is Japanese for "Child". Therefore, in SD/Chibi style, the head will be larger than the body. Also, keep the features pretty close together and the eyes should be large. (Large eyes=innocence).
For Wufei, I'm not going to show all the steps I take, because they're the same as Heero's. (Just different eyes and hair). Also, there is a DomonW comic how to draw him. Ha ha! ;D Anywho, if you want steps go to Chibi Heero Tutorial.
