Chibi
Style Quatre
Chibi style is usually used in dipicting extreme emotions, very small pictures, doujinshi (fan comics), and doodling! SD/Super Deformed/Chibi style is basically a charicature of the character...in a very small size. There are many different ways to approach drawing chibi. Just lemme give a few tips.
| Tips: The most important features should be emphasized in chibi-style. Eyes, hair, and clothes are some defining characteristics. Take a look at my example below. On the left is a screen shot of Quatre. The right is a super deformed version. The key is to simplify. |

Personally, I like to emphasize his eyes. Makes him look more innocent. Most other artists tend to draw Quatre with very large eyes too. I also tend to make his mouth smaller, 'cuz it makes him seem quiet. ^_^

I've drawn several styles of chibis. The first one imitates the style in the DomonW comics. (It's a bad imitation...sorry. :P) The center one shows the amount of detail you can choose to put into it. I like his hair and eyes in that one. The cat one is to show that alls you really need is to draw the hair. ;)
Proportions: Chibi is Japanese for "Child". Therefore, in SD/Chibi style, the head will be larger than the body. Also, keep the features pretty close together and the eyes should be large. (Large eyes=innocence).
I'm not going to show the steps on how to draw Quatre specifically, because it's basically the same as Heero's. If you *want* steps go to Chibi Heero Tutorial or nag me enuff.
