Omi Tsukiyono is a boy who, through neglect, was forced to become a man while still in his teens. Omi carries no memory of his real past; he only knows that Persia and Manx were responsible for raising him. After finding a personal connection in a Weiß mission, Omi remembered being kidnapped when he was younger and held for ransom. His real father refused to pay the ransom, and left Omi to the whim of the kidnappers. Upon realizing the memory, Omi was nearly unable to function; he was entirely consumed with his abandonment and why a parent would do that to a child.
Omi is the youngest member of Weiß, but he is also the group's unofficial leader. He considers the mission when the others may only focus on the individual. He is in charge of research, which usually means that Ken, Aya and Yohji leave him with the bulk of the work when Persia doesn't provide enough information for a mission. However, Omi will suck it up and deliver. Omi cares deeply about making sure his work gets done, and he also cares about the other members of Weiß. Their feelings and problems are in his mind, even when they don't return the same courtesy (though, Omi is probably the only one they all LIKE). Omi is an observer, but he pulls his own weight in the group.
