From left to right: Miho, Fujio, Hibiki, Fuuko, Seiko

Somebody: What's the next episode about?
Somebody else: Nandeyanen!
Somebody completely different?: Tune in next time!*

The Cast:

Genre:
This one is a little hard to place into a single genre. However, I'd have to say it's "high school girl" (like Azumanga Daioh), but with cross-dressing and a little ecchi action.
Series Info:
There are 13 TV episodes (each about 20-30 minutes long) on four DVDs and it's been licensed in the U.S.
Soundtrack Info:
I'm sure there is a soundtrack, but I can't find one... The opening song is "Dearest" by Mieno Hitomi and the ending song is "White Station" by Ace File.
Summary:
Fresh out of college, Amawa Hibiki (a guy, mind you) is looking for a job as a teacher. While living at Gochisou (an inn), Hibiki realizes that he can't pay the rent, forcing him to look harder for a job (if he can't pay, the owner will eat his dog as inu-nabe-- dog soup). After being rejected at the local high school for being a man, Hibiki decides to cross-dress in order to pay the rent and to show the school's headmistress how wrong she is to hate men.
Review:
2/5 stars
Does anyone out there know why it's called, "I, My, Me! Strawberry Eggs?"
This was a pretty disappointing anime-- it builds up to a climax, but then skips it and goes right into the denouement. Every time the vice-principal is about to discover Hibiki's real identity as a man, something happens in order to protect the truth about "her." (Warning: minor spoiler ahead) When the vice-principal finally reveals Hibiki in front of the school... well, I'm not going to tell you what happens exactly or what I was expecting, but it's pretty disappointing. Otherwise, the plot is original and simple and the story is amusing (i.e. laugh-out-loud-amusing). There are some good laughs and a love rectangle (it's not possible to have an anime about adolescents without confusing relationship problems). However, there are times when the characters are just too exasperating to handle (Fuuko). The characters are developed to a certain degree, but I couldn't even remember their names when I was writing the caption for the image above (and I watched the series over the course of two days-- it's not like I waited several weeks in between episodes). I would highly recommend this anime to you if you really enjoy cross-dressing and gender-bashing (especially if you enjoyed Ranma 1/2. For everyone else (is there anyone left?), I'd say it's worth watching, but there are other series out there that are more worth watching.

*"Nandeyanen"- see the Azumanga Daioh page for a definition
"Somebody," et al.- I don't know who was talking because everybody's voices sounded the same (seriously)
