Audio 
The opening is pretty nice, and when the competitions are going, the music gets pretty good as well. The ending is another story. I mean, it fits but I dont like it much. Other background music also sounds good and fits the setting.
Visuals 
The animation in BAV is better than your average TV show. Everything looks smooth and clear with no noticable problems with the video quality. Some parts look really well done, especially during races.
Story/Entertainment
Akari's mother is the legendary Cosmo Bueaty. After seeing her mother die, Akari goes Antartica training area to follow in the footsteps of her mother. She and many others are all competing to go to the University Satelite. Only the 3 best from this training session will be able to go. The only bad thing is that some of the scenes seemed a little rushed, but the characters are one of the thing what makes this anime so great, everyone is racing for their own reasons and it really makes the competition more intense. There is so much stuff that goes on, many plot twists and unexpected events. Especially in the end, it is a very unexpected last turn in the final episodes. After its all over though, you realize that the last few episodes lead up to an awesome ending.
Comments The only thing that is missing is extras. There are zip, none, nada. A creditless Opening would have been nice.
