Kai...? *looks around, a little scared* What's going on...? *spots a person across the aisle, who is unconscious* Huh... I seem to be the only one awake... Satsuki: *unconscious; has cuts all over her face and plexiglass in her hair* Sakura: *Surprisingly, is on the same train, just a few cars up. She is protected by an overturned seat and manages to free herself.* Ooh... My head... God, what happened... Kanoe: *starts frantically searching for signs of life from anywhere, but her seatbelt seems to be jammed, and she can't get up* SHIT! I GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!!! *Finally, she remembers her cel. Kanoe: Bob! Sakura: *Manages to do the best she can, but not many survivors are in her car. Instead of going backwards, where she may find Kanoe, she goes forward, trying to help others.* Sailor Bob: Kanoe? Kanoe: Oh, please, go downstairs and help Suzuki! Kanoe: Something awful's happened! Kanoe: *decides it's a lost cause, hangs up and begins trying to get out of her seatbelt, which is still jammed* Satsuki: *stirs, just enough to dislodge a little of the glass in her hair, but doesn't wake up* Kanoe: *finally manages to get out, starts moving the huge seat that's blocking Satsuki from her view* Kanoe: Hup... Hup... Kanoe: Huuuuuuup! Kanoe: *moves it aside, sees Satsuki* !.! Kanoe: Kiko!!! Satsuki: *stirs again, dislodging more glass which makes a jangling sound* Kanoe: *sees that the glass is all around her, decides it would be a bad idea to move her* Sakura: *helps a few people in the first few cars, then finds the engineer* Sir... Sir! *shakes him* Val: *safe in his bag, beeps frantically* Engineer: Oooh... What happened? Sakura: The train wrecked... Or something! Kanoe: *grabs Val’s bag* Val! It's okay! Kai: *foot is sticking out from behind dislodged seat* Kanoe: Be quiet, I need to think! Kanoe: *takes out her cel and dials Suzuki again* Val: *beeps once more sulkily, then shuts up* Suzuki: *picks up, trying not to sound as if he's been crying* Sailor Bob: *bawling so loud the neighbors are coming over, trying to comfort him* Kanoe: Oh, Suzuki... Suzuki: Anything n- new? Kanoe: *starts crying again* Kiko's okay, she's alive, and she's moving... Kanoe: But I can't find Kai anywhere! Engineer: Last thing I remember.... There was a giant flash on the tracks in front of me. I couldn't stop in time.... Suzuki: *sits down on the floor - hard* Suzuki: K- keep looking. I'm s- sure he's fine... Suzuki: But Kiko? Are you sure -?! Kanoe: Yes! Suzuki: *starts crying again out of relief* Kanoe: But, Bob... Kanoe: Bob dropped the phone... Suzuki: I - I'll go b- bug him... Kanoe: Thanks... Engineer: Yea... *falls back into a state of unconsciousness, just as he was found* Kanoe: *begins frantically searching for Kai again* Kanoe: Kai! Kanoe: Where did you go?! Suzuki: *sits for another minute, then goes to find Bob* Sailor Bob: *now some neighbors are yelling at him to shut up, making him more distressed* Suzuki: *follows the sound of the crying* Suzuki: *finds Bob and tries to comfort him* Sailor Bob: *attaches to Suzuki, bawling* KAI-CHAAAAAAAN!!!!!!! Suzuki: *sniffling again himself* I - I'm sure Kai's fine... Sailor Bob: *continues bawling as if he didn't hear him* Suzuki: *keeps trying to comfort him* Kanoe: *sees Kai’s foot* !.! Kanoe: *begins trying to move that chair too* Sakura: *Leaves the engineer after comforting him as best she can. She begins to work her way back through the cars.* Satsuki: *shifts slightly* Varu... Kanoe: KAI! 119 People: *began to arrive on the scene in fire trucks, helicopters, ambulances, and all the assorted emergency vehicles* Kanoe: *takes his pulse very very carefully* Val: *beeps, worried about Kai now too* Kai: *doesn't move* Kanoe: *sighs in relief* He's alive... Kanoe: *takes out cel immediately* Kanoe: *calls the apartment* Sailor Bob: *too busy to hear* Suzuki: *picks up, since Bob doesn't* Yes? Paramedic 1: *appears next to Satsuki, gets her loaded into a stretcher* Kanoe: *yells after him* Take good care of her, or else! Paramedic 1: I will, ma'am! Kanoe: Oh, Suzuki! Kanoe: Kai's alive! Suzuki: *sighs with relief* Kanoe: He's really banged-up, but he's alive! Suzuki: Thanks. Kanoe: *starts crying really hard* Kanoe: We're all alive! Suzuki: *turns to Bob* Kai's okay! Sailor Bob: *starts bawling again* Satsuki: *on the way to the hospital, keeps muttering both Suzuki and Val's names* Kanoe: I- I- I'll s- see you later... Kanoe: I'll call you when we get to the hospital... *hangs up* Suzuki: *hangs up, begins crying with relief again* Kanoe: *hovers over Kai while they load him onto a stretcher, too* *A group of paramedics makes their way onto Sakura’s car, and take her out along with some other injured people.* Paramedic 2: *appears next to Kanoe and Kai* Kanoe: *whispering* Hang on, Kai, hang on... Paramedic 2: *gives them both a professional look-over, then calls for one of the helicopters to airlift them out* Sakura: *sighs, sitting by herself covered in a blanket* I wish K-chan were here... Why did I come to see Aono without anyone... Paramedic 2: *to Kanoe* Did you move him at all? Kanoe: *Shakes her head* No, I just took his pulse... Paramedic 2: Good. I think he's got a fair chance, then. Kanoe: *sighs in relief* Good... Helicopter: *arrives, picks up both Kai and Kanoe as well as two or three other people who were in the car* Paramedic 2: *goes back to work sorting through rubble* Kanoe: *goes with them, holding Kai's hand, even though he doesn't stir* Kanoe: *and remembering Val, too* Val: *beeps once, sadly, on the way to the hospital* Sakura: *is escorted to a nearby helicopter* But I don't need to go to the hospital. I'm all right... Kanoe: *huggles Val as much as she can, with him being in a bag and one hand busy with Kai* Kanoe: It's okay, Val, we're all going to be okay... Val: *gives a quiet but hopeful beep* Sakura: *Begins to raise a little bit of a fuss when they tell her to just do it. She's getting just a little loud...* Paramedic 3: *tries to get her to come along quietly* Kanoe: I promise, Kiko will be okay, and Kai will be fine, and Suzuki and Bob will greet us when we get there... Val: *beeps, content* Sakura: *eventually just gives up and goes with them, will straighten all this out at the hospital* Kanoe: *sighs* And somehow, we'll manage to get a message to Sakura... *is saying this last part mostly for her own comfort* Kanoe: *lays her head on Val* And we'll all be fine... Val: *beeps quietly, then shuts down for the moment* Helicopter: *arrives at the hospital and unloads everyone, then heads back for another load* Kanoe: *goes with Kai, since she has no clue where Satsuki is* Hospital People: *take Kai to the emergency room to fix him up, put Kanoe in a waiting room since she isn't visibly bleeding* Kanoe: *is bruised from seatbelt, but doesn't feel it as she bugs the person at the desk about Satsuki* Receptionist: *gives her Satsuki's room number* But don't disturb her now! She needs her rest, Miss Komori. Kanoe: But... But... Kanoe: *sits down and pouts* Receptionist: *goes on to deal with the next batch of crying relatives* Sakura: *at the same desk, over on the other side* Stop trying to give me a room!! I'm fine!! Her brain, which has had too much activity lately, fails to process both, and she faints upon sight.* Suzuki: *sees her faint* K- Kanoe?
