There's something amazing and wonderful about being close to someone you
love.  Even if they don't love you back(the same way you love them, anyway),
it's wonderful to be near them just the same.  To be able to see them smile,
see their happiness.  To be able to feel happy because they're happy.  Many
people tell me it's stupid to love someone you can never have.  I don't 
think so.  I don't think it matters if they love you as you love them or if
they love you only as a friend.  All that matters is being near them, 
sharing things with them, protecting them…  It doesn't matter what happens,
as long as they're happy.  As long as they find someone who can love them as
you do, whom they love in return, as long as they're happy, nothing in the
world can hurt you.  Absolutely nothing.
