There's something... almost magic about some movies. Something special and sentimental, that touches you on a deep level, deeper than our normally cynical selves can handle. These movies don't have to have plots, or even great characterization. It's about more than that. In the darkness of the movie theater, you can laugh, cry, and sympathize with the characters, no matter how stupid the movie or even other characters are. You can be sucked in by one despairing cry, by one heartfelt kiss. You can love and hate and want anything and anyone, because no one can tell you're afraid, or you're sad, or you're happy. Movies like that are so rare, so wonderful, that it's always a treat to go see one, to experience the magic. Because even as cliched as it may seem, some movies really are magic. Some movies really do touch you, in a way almost nothing else can.
