About Us

Just a little page where you can learn aaaaaaaaaall about the wonderful people responsible for Open Circle, Genki Goth, and the
    immortal phrase, "No…  I don't think I'll ever be daijoubu again…"

         Hokuto Kuzuki

Online Names:  Hokuto Kuzuki, Shirou Hokuto, Maya Tijan, Yui Ikari, Neko-Yuzuriha, Shanshalya; just Hokuto is my favorite.
Real Name:  Sore wa - himitsu desu!  ^-^  Just kidding - Margaret.
E-Mail Address Where You Can Send Me Compliments:  hokutochan@hotmail.com
Webdiaries:    Neko-Yuzuriha's Spiffy Diary-Type Thingie!! (genki side),  Shirou Hokuto's Angst-Ridden Journal of EVIL! (evil side)
Roles:  Open Circle - Satsuki, Tetsuya, Joker, sometimes Suzuki, many bit parts.  Genki Goth - Shiko, Shalohim, Josh, Alison's Mother
and other bit parts.  Terracon - Shanshalya Tsuru, Amanos Tsuru.  Hidden Faces - Niikura Richi, Katsura Daisuke, off and on bit parts.  Anime
High - Haruhara Kigan, who would be world's champion lazy bum if he bothered to compete.  And, of course, I'm the webmistress of not one,
but TWO sites; this one here, Open Circle, and the other one is  Fun with FF7: A Fancomic , which rules.  (Hah!  I bet you thought I couldn't fit
another shameless plug onto this page!  Well, you were WRONG!  MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!)  P.S.  It's kind of three sites now, but since my
J-Rock page is technically on THIS site, I shouldn't need to put in another link.  Of course, I could be wrong.  -_-
Interesting Stuff:  In case you couldn't tell by the banner on the front page, I'm a big J-Rock fan!  (Or at least a big Dir en grey fan -
what the hey, same difference, not like 98% of Americans know who Dir en grey is anyway…)  I'm also a major otaku (=anime fan) and I
LOVE to read to the exclusion of almost everything else.  I like writing a lot, too, which is kinda how I got into the whole online roleplaying
deal, and I like to draw but I'm not all that good at it yet.  Someday, though…  My favorite anime/manga are X and anything else by CLAMP,
Slayers (especially Slayers Try), Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Inu-Yasha even though I've only seen five episodes, and FLCL.  Evangelion goes
without saying.  Favorite American movies/TV shows:  Buffy the Vampire Slayer (but I only watch it for Spikey, honest!), The Fellowship
of the Ring, The Matrix, Dogma, Frasier because Niles is adorable, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Farscape though I never have a chance to
watch it anymore, Storm of the Century and The Shawshank Redemption because Stephen King is God, Queen of the Damned (Stuart Townsend
    - oh, GOD, YUM...!), and all Star Wars movies (George Lucas is also God… as you'll soon see, there are many gods).  Favorite books (this is a
long one):  The Lord of the Rings; the Black Company and Garret, P.I. series by Glen Cook (he's great, why is he so little-known?!); the
Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice (bite me, Lestat-dono!  *bares neck*); the Foundation and Robot series by Isaac Asimov; Harry Potter (I'm
not saying they beat Lord of the Rings, but they are good books); just about anything by Robert Heinlein but especially Stranger in a Strange
Land and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress; the Narnia Chronicles by C.S. Lewis; the Crystal Cave Trilogy by Mary Stewart; The Merro Tree by
Katie Waitman, for the word "serassi" if nothing else; A Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin; anything by Stephen King but especially Hearts in
Atlantis (the movie was terrible!  They got Anthony Hopkins to be Ted and it was STILL terrible!  ;.;!!!), the entire Dark Tower series, It,
Insomnia, and The Stand; the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, another god of mine; most of Charles de Lint's stuff, it's beautiful; American
Gods and The Sandman (comic) by Neil Gaiman…  Trust me, the list goes on and on; there are just some of my special life-changing books.
Favorite Japanese music:  Dir en grey (duh); Shinohara Tomoe, who does pop but is still cool - I mean, just listen to Ultra Relax; Gackt-sama,
gorgeous in both looks and voice; Weiss (SEKI TOMOKAZU-SAMA!  *swoon*); Malice Mizer (THEY'RE BREAKING UP!
NOOOOOOOOO!!  ;.;); and hide, dead but still rockin'.  (If I hear ONE MORE PERSON call him a Japanese Kurt Cobain, I will SHOOT
THEM DEAD WHERE THEY STAND!  The same goes for the next person to look at my X artbook and say, "Oh, is that like Pokemon?")
Favorite non-Japanese music, not that I listen to much:  U2, Goo Goo Dolls, Sarah McLachlan, "In the End" by Linkin Park, and Andrew Lloyd
Webber musicals.  Yes, I know I have no taste.

         Mokona-Chiirushia

Online Names: (Whoo, boy, this’s a long one...) Voren, Mokona-Chiirushia, Daiya no Konton, Konton no Miko, Kiseki no Tenshi,
Alison Devar, Cassandra Blaque (pronounced black), Lanara Daiya Lanke, and Mikael.
            Real Name: Chelsea
            Email: black20_2000@yahoo.com
            Webjournal:  Daiya Lanke's Journal
Roles in OC: Kanoe, sometimes Suzuki, Sailor Bob, Shonkoe, Bloody Charlie, The Sun, Time. Genki Goth: Alison, Sanshoar,
Kallahandra, Shunpei, other bit parts. Terracon: Ali Kasa (aka Kira), Karashi and Kanashi (kind of one character, kind of not). Hidden Faces:
Morisato Tohru, Shuichi McLain, various bit parts.  Anime High: Yamano Tori. I am also the Official Site Bitch for the OC site!
About Me: Okay, this’s hard... Well, I’m an otaku, like Margaret (duh), and I do like yaoi and yuri (Yuri: The under-represented half of
gay anime fandom!), I’m six feet tall (all guys cower at my height... *snf*), brown hair and brown eyes, overweight (I’m working on it!), and
very sensitive person (just ask my poor neechan... That’s Margaret, by the way). I’m bi, completely single (*snf* Guys hate me...), love to
read, write, roleplay, play video games, sing, dance, and act. I love all animals except bugs (snakes are special to my heart...), and I have two
dogs, a greyhound named Sierra and a dobie named Lasha (both female, spayed, and middle-aged), I’m 16, a junior in high school, and much
too innocent for my age (I really am... I have no idea what a person would do at a party, or why they would want to go to one...). I have two
very close friends, Margaret (neechan!) and Nicole (I’m her bodyguard... she’s much too pretty for her own good.), and quite a few not-so-
close ones. I love creative, smart, sensitive people, but only if they’re not completely full of themselves. Last but not least, I have an extremely
strange sense of style (if you can really call it style...). I have been known to show up in school with a stuffed snake around my neck, a fuzzy
purple hat on my head (it has about thirty little anime pins on it), dressed in all black, wearing black lipstick, with a backpack stuffed with
anime DVDs or my computer and a lunchbag with a picture of a doberman on it. Those things did not nessessarily happen at the same time.
Interesting Stuff: I love so many anime it’s hard to name them all, but current favs are Weiss Kreuz, Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Wai! Shoujo-
ai goodness!), the Ah! Megami-sama movie, and Saiyuki (if you know any good Saiyuki sites, please email them! I know NOTHING about this
series!). Uhm... What’s currently in my CD wallet is Lifehouse, Train, Soundtrack of Children of Eden (a wonderful and TOTALLY
under-appreciated musical that my school did recently, and I was in it), Holly Cole: Dark Dear Heart, Soundtrack of Harry Potter, Spin
Doctors: Pocket Full of Kryptonite, Soundtrack of Titan A.E., Andrea Bocelli: Romanza, Soundtrack of Grandia II, Fushigi Yuugi Character’s
Vocal Memories, Uncle Kracker: Double Wide, Ani DeFranco: Little Plastic Castle, and Nickelback: Silver Side Up. What’s currently on my
bookshelf: Pages for You (I can never remember the author’s name...), Julie’s Wolf Pack, The Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop, The Last
Herald Mage Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey, Silk Road by Jeanne Larsen, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac by Jhonen Vasquez (Can ANYONE
pronounce his name?), Shadow Lady manga (don’t remember the author...), and Weiss Kreuz manga/artbook by Project Weiss. Movies sitting
on my TV (I LOVE DVD!!!): The Fifth Element (say what you will, but I LOVE this movie!), Princess Diaries, Mulan, Amelie
(EVERYONE MUST SEE IT!), Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Some movies you just feel guilty about
liking...), Shoujo Kakumei Utena: The Movie, Ah! Megami-sama: The Movie, and the Original Star Wars Trilogy. TV Series set into my VCR
timer: West Wing (Martin Sheen for President!), Gilmore Girls (I find so many similiarities between them and my mom and I), Smallville
(okay, so I don’t really care about Superman, that boy is HOT!), Courage the Cowardly Dog (who says modern cartoons suck?), Power Puff
Girls (it’s funny how stupid they are...), and Mystery Science Theatre 3000 (how could it NOT rock?). Comic Books next to the books on my
shelf: The Sandman Series (Neil Gaiman rocks my world! And yes, I know he’s gay, I didn’t mean it like that, you PERVS!), Generation X
(until it changed the writer, artist, and everything else, started sucking, then ended), Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (I know I already put this.
Slave Labor Graphics rocks!), really old X-men comics (two older brothers, what can I say...), and really old comics in general. Video
Games NOT gathering dust underneath my TV: Grandia II for Dreamcast, Skies of Arcadia for Dreamcast (I pretty much only play RPGs...
Bad hand-eye coordination, dontcha know.), Final Fantasy VII for Playstation (I wuv my new second-hand playstation I got for fifty bucks with
all the connections and two controllers...), Chrono Cross for Playstation (Sergy-poo! *Giggles like mad*), Final Fantasy IX for Playstation
(Eight sucked so bad, and you all know it! Okay, so I’ve never played eight or nine, but web sites are extremely enlightening!), Harvest Moon
for Super Nintendo, Super Mario World for Super Nintendo, Chrono Trigger for Super Nintendo, Super Mario RPG for Super Nintendo,
Earthbound for Super Nintendo, Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3 for Super Nintendo, Tetris and Dr. Mario for Gameboy, Pokemon Blue,
Red, Yellow, Silver, and Gold for Gameboy, and Magic Knight Rayearth for Super Nintendo (so it was a stupid game. It was kinda fun
    anyway.).

         Ryuujin Tatsu

            Online Names:  Ryuujin, Koneko, Kai
            Real Name:  Todd
            E-Mail Address:  ryuujint@hotmail.com
            Webdiary:   My Diary!!
Roles:  Open Circle - Kai and his family.  Anime High - Michiko.
Interesting Stuff:  I love Chaos, anime, nice music, nice people (and snuggling them ^-^;;;), running, and fighting.  I hate excess pride or
any weakness like that, the people I like suffering caring about me too much, and anou… other stuff.  My favorite animes are Fushigi Yuugi,
Slayers, Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Wing, and Outlaw Star.  For American shows, I watch Buffy, and Angel (Angel-chan is so cute!!
    *.*).
My favorite books are the Wheel of Time series and Nightrunner series (much shounen ai goodness).  Favorite music: anime.  My
favorite movie is Princess Mononoke, which is beautiful.  I don't like saying a whole lot to no one really so if you want more talk to me.  ^-^

         XxGigasboltxX

            Online Name:  Giga
            Real Name:  K.C.
            E-Mail Address:  XvGigavX@yahoo.com; for Terracon stuff, tooweird2understand@yahoo.com
Web JOURNAL!(*glares at Hokuto* No diary!):   Giga's LiveJournal
Roles: Open Circle: Sakura, Ken, Soji, bit roles.  Terracon: Koumouri, Shidousha, and Anarky.  Hidden Faces: Ken Landers, Leesa Johns.
Anime High: Guy Kaku.  Also, I am the owner and creator of Terracon.  Well, co-owner.  I'm also Klaw-hammer in an amazing novella
based on the White Wolf RP system, but using Transformers: Beast Wars as the basis of play.  Check it out at www.secondtruth.com
Interesting Stuff:  I'm a geek.  I love all things anime (Except for Yaoi! I tolerate it, but there's no love there...), sci-fi, fantasy, cartoons,
comedy, movies, music, basically, I'm a geek.  I don't want to bore you, so I'll go into a few of my favorite things, then be done.
Favorite Music: Category:  Rap:  I really like DMX a lot, Nelly is good too.  My all time favorite group in the rap industry has to be
Outkast, and my all time favorite single rapper is probably DMX, but Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Nelly are all good too.
Category:  Rock:  I love Linkin Park!  Kick-ass!  Limp Bizkit is awesome too.  P.O.D. has got to be the best though.  Korn is a good
listen, as well as Drowning Pool.  I don't really get into the metal scene, or anything.  Category: Dance/Electronic/Techno:  I really enjoy
Eiffel 65, I think they're a good group for light techno stuff.  Darude is awesome, along with Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers, and
Prodigy.  I also enjoy listening to the smooth dance style of Daft Punk.  Category:  Overall:  Greatest artist of all time:  Weird Al
Yankovic.  I care not what you say, I love Weird Al, nothing will ever change that.  I own 7 of his CDs, and I'm still planning on buying
the rest.  I will have everything!  EVERYTHING!
Books I've read:  Favorites have to be the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, along with the Hobbit, and the entire Animorphs set.  It's really
good writing.  I also have the first two books in the Dragonlords series, which is looking really good.  Also good is The Pit Dragon
Trilogy by Jane Yolen.  I recommend it to all.
Comics I read:  Impulse is still good, even though it's gone through some changes in writers and artist.  I also enjoy the new Green
Lantern and Flash.  I'm a big DC fan, but Marvel isn't bad.  I like Spiderman a lot, and the X-Men have some cool characters.
Videogames:  Videogames are my life!  I couldn't live without them.  I have a PS2 and a DC, and I play them both constantly.  I really
like fighting games the best, and I'm a huge fan of Capcom.  I own nearly all of their games for the DC and PS.  Even the crappier
ones, like X-Men Vs. Street Fighter.  No tag option?  What's up with that?
T.V.:  Favorite American Show: Titus and Invader Zim
Favorite Japanese Show:  Tenchi Muyo:  OAV Series
Favorite British Show:  Monty Python's Flying Circus
Movies:  Anything by Kevin Smith.  I love Jay and Silent Bob.  UHF is a must, because it's by Weird Al.  I also enjoyed the Matrix and
Lord of the Rings.  I really loved Not Another Teen Movie.  Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one of the best of all time.
RP:  I try my best to create very unique characters.  All of my characters play off of one or two of my personal traits.  Sakura is my
hentai side, Soji is my geekiness and my love of girls, Shidousha is my cruel, power-hungry persona, Koumouri is my strong and loyal
friend type, and Ben(Anarky) is my crazy as a loon side.  Klaw-hammer is my warrior type, and most of my other characters play along
those lines.  I've created some real doozies before, but usually, I play them as well as I can.  A lot of times, though, a character just runs
away and plays itself.  There's nothing I can do, they're just in my head, telling me things.

            Happy piccies of us!  Wai!
