He is the first
Seiryuu Seishi to appear and he saved Yui from being raped after she appearred
in the book world. Yui was unconscious at the time of her rescue so Nakago
took her to the Kotou palace and told her she had been raped. Yui in her
despair tried to commit suicide but Nakago wouldn't let her die and instead
convinved her it was Miaka's fault she was raped and in the book world.
Yui took the role of Seiryuu no Miko in revenge against Miaka because the
two countries will be enemies.
Nakago is very
calm, ruthless, and cruel. Nakago lies to get what he wants and is very
manipulitve. He doesn't care about the other Seiryuu seishi and they are
expendable to him. He only cares for himself and knows that to get it is
for Yui to always hate the Suzaku no Miko, Miaka and her seishi. Nakago
is very cold and calcul;ating in his methods and loves to mess with the
Suzaku seishi. What he does doesn't matter as long as he gets the desired
results. *Like when he kissed Tamahome. Ew!!*
Nakago pretends
to be loyal, protective, and caring towards Seiryuu No Miko, Yui, on the
surface but he is only using her, as he uses others, to achieve his ultimate
goal. He lies to Yui throughout the whole series, feeding her lies about
how Miaka never came back for her but for her own selfish reasons and tamahome.
This turns Yui and makes Yui rely on only Nakago which is exactly what
Nakago wants. He plays with Yui's heart, pretending to love her when he
only wants one thing from her and that is a wish when she summons the animjal
god, Seiryuu.
Nakago had a
horrifying past, the main reason he wants revenge against everything and
everyone. Nakago was born to the Hin race, a strange people to the West
with the racial characteristics of blonde hair and blue eyes. Hin race
people were considered filth and were hated by all, but the childlike Nakago
could not understand the blind discrimination. The Emperor of Kotou eventually
ordered the genocide of all Hin people, the ten yearold Nakago and his
mother were attacked. When his mother was being brutally raped by soldiers,
Nakago’s powers awakened, and in a flash he burned five soldiers and his
mother to death.
Nakago was taken
to the palace afterward and presented to the Emperor, who decided to keep
Nakago with him and he sexually abused the young boy, taking Nakago to
bed with him and raping him several times. Nakago grew up with hatred and
revenge in his heart, and longed to destroy everything that gave him pain
in his life. Nakago increased his powers, becoming a shogun (army general)
for the Kotou country and preparing the arrival of the Seiryuu No Miko
would come, so he could use one of her wishes for is unlimited power and
everlasting life as a god, so he can carry out his revenge on the world.
