Four years later…
Kaioshin of the East walked down the stairs of his mansion on Kaioshinkai. Rou Dai Kaioshin, Dai Kaioshin, and Kibito waited at the bottom. He laughed when he saw the three men. “Now what are you all standing there for?”
“We’re waiting for you to leave,” Rou Dai Kaioshin replied. “So hurry up and get out of here!”
“I said I’d be there at noon. It’s only 11:53 on Earth right now. I’d be early,” Kaioshin said with a wink.
“So break your record of arriving exactly on the dot. Who cares!? Just go there and get yourself back here quickly,” the old god said as he sat down on air.
“I’m going, I’m going,” Kaioshin laughed as he disappeared.
Meanwhile on Earth, Erica was finishing some final things while she waited for Kaioshin to arrive. She glanced over her shoulder to see toys on the floor. She sighed as she went over to pick them up. “I put them away, and ten minutes later they’re all back,” she said out loud.
“You need to learn how to snap your fingers and what you want is done,” Kaioshin said coming up behind her.
“You know, you’re right. I don’t need my fingers though…I just need to find my magic wand,” Erica said sarcastically. “Hello Kaioshin.” They gave each other a long kiss.
“How are you?” Kaioshin asked after they parted.
“Like usual; tired, but good.” Erica turned her head. “Alanna! Daddy’s here!”
“Daddy!” A child’s voice yelled from down the hall. Soon a little girl of almost three years of age came running into the living room and jumped into her father’s arms.
“Hey, sweetheart,” Kaioshin said kissing his daughter on the forehead.
“When are we going to see Grandpa Kaioshin and Uncle Kibito?” Her blue eyes looked innocently at her father. Her blond hair was neatly brushed and half pulled back. Her skin was a very light purple, but could still be mistaken as a Caucasian.
“We’ll leave as soon as your mom is ready,” Kaioshin said.
“I’m all set,” Erica said. She picked up Alanna’s small backpack that carried a couple of dolls. “Let’s go.”
“Alright,” Kaioshin said taking Erica’s hand and holding onto his daughter with his other arm.
They arrived in front of the house on Kaioshinkai with Rou Kaioshin, Dai Kaioshin, and Kibito waiting for them. Alanna jumped down from Kaioshin’s arms and ran over to greet them. “Uncle Kibito! Grandpa Kaioshin! Paps!”
“Alanna my little girl,” said Rou Kaioshin, otherwise known as Paps.
“Your little girl?” Dai Kaioshin asked.
“Of course. She loves her Pap more than anyone else,” the elderly god said.
“Does not,” Dai Kaioshin said back.
“I brought my dolls, Uncle Kibito,” Alanna said. “We can play with them.”
“I can’t wait,” Kibito said happily with a smile.
“Hey, hey,” Rou Kaioshin said in shock. “What about me? I want to play dolls.”
“You can play, but Uncle Kibito promised me he’d play last time I was here.”
Erica and Kaioshin stood together watching their daughter. Erica put her arms around Kaioshin’s. “I always thought a miscarriage would be terrible. I do feel bad, but it gave us a chance to have our own child.”
“She’s just as beautiful as her mother,” Kaioshin said with his well-known smile.
“So much has happened to us. Now we’ve been wed and have had a child. What more can I ask for?”
“When you think of something, let me know,” Kaioshin said as he kissed his life’s love.
