Made of: Darkblue velvet like fabric with regular darkblue fabric for the skirt, transparent blue stuff, hairclips, lots of pearl jewelry, pair of blue elastic slippers, technoblue wig (home-styled), tanktop for top-base, Dolan (Dolphin Plushie)
Well, this was my first cosplay, a bit of a duo with Sharon, who went as Juu-ou Zellas Metallium. (we went as the two female Dark Lords form Slayers) The only drawback was that neither Zellas or Dolph had ever made a real appearance in the series so no one recocnized us. We did run into a Xellos cosplayer tho, who was kind enough to pose with Sharon ^_^. ehm, okay, btu I'm here to talk about the costume...
The whole thing was made without paterns (and I made a mistake in the skirt but what the fuck). The skirt was made with cheap dark-blue fabric for the base, the darkblue velvety stuff was sewn over that. The whole thing was then swen onto a belt (yes, cheap, but I'm an amateur so I'm allowed) The tanktop was made by taking a regular tanktop and sewing the velvety stuff onto it. Harldy visible on tese photos, but with it went a small transparent cape and an extra kind of skirt that dragged over the floor. I wish I had dumped the cape, it was stupid. The extra skirt was kindof nessesary to cover up the open side of the base skirt (told you I made a mistake ^^ about 5 CMs on my left side were uncovered) but it was dragging behind me and people kepts stepping on it >_< But over all the costume was very comfortable, and even warm to a certian level. Big drawback was that the wig felt like it was trying to eat my brains or something. And the shoes... Gods. the SHOES! The things were mainly elastic and it kept cutting off the bloodsupply to my toes and made thigns generally unpleasant. I took them of at every possibility ^^;
