Dragon Ball Z, the highest-rated program in Cartoon Network's popular Toonami block, blazes all expectations. DBZ ratings earned triple-digit increases across kid, tween and teen demographics with the airing of Z-Day on May 25th. Compared to the same time period last year, kids 6-11 ratings increased 146%, tweens 9-14 ratings increased 125%, while teens 12-17 increased 100% and boys 9-14 ratings increased 144%.

"Dragon Ball Z is an immensely popular program. To see this type of growth is amazing and a great testimony to the strength of the series," notes Gen Fukunaga, President of FUNimation, which introduced Dragon Ball Z to North America.
