"Well, i've been a fan of Dragonball/Z/GT for about 5 years now. I've seen a lot of the episodes in Japanese and in English. After DBZ finally made its way to America a few years ago, sites began to pop up. And when looking at these sites, i've noticed the webmasters like to place thier fan opinion. And over 80% of the sites i've been to are either fans of Majin Buu, Cell, or a movie bad guy. Over time, i've grown tired of this, and i'd really like to state that out of all of the bad guys, the one who is the best of them all is none other than Frieza!"
"Most people decide their favorite anime character on their power alone. Frieza had a lot of power, which grew each time he transformed. But his power could never compare to someone like the Androids, Majin Buu, or Cell. However, were all of those who were more powerful than Frieza actually evil?"
"One of the biggest reasons he possibly thr best DBZ villian is because he is the only one that is pure evil. Raditz, Vegeta, and Nappa all acted evil, but they're Saiyans, they only kill because they were raised to do so. If they were raised differently, they would be different. The Androids and Cell were only created for the purpose of destroying Goku, nothing else. In Mirai Trunks' alternate timeline, they did ruin the World, but they did that out of survival instinct. Dr. Gero wasn't evil, he only wanted revenge for what Goku did to the Red Ribbon Army. And lastly, Majin Buu. Buu was only a creation, he didn't have a choice if he wanted to be good or evil. Notice Fat Buu, who destroyed everything in his path at first, was given a chance to be good because of Mr. Satan (Hercule), and chose to be good. This proves that Frieze would be the only person actually worthy of being called the greatest villian, actually, it proves he's the only one that should actually be considered a villian."
"Let's now take a look a Frieza's attacks. Personally, I think he has the third best set of villian moves in Dragonball Z. (If you only count the series, and not the movies, Frieza has the second best set of villian attacks) The Deathbomb itself is one of the most devistating attacks, and looks much cooler than Son Goku's Genki Dama (You can agree or disagree). Frieza's Impisonment Ball, an attack Frieza used an Goku to trap him in a ball and then use him to play soccer with his tail, is damn funny and much better than watching more ki blasts like the Kamehameha get thrown around. I mean, Frieza is one of the many reasons people wanted Akira to continue the DBZ series, and not end it."
"Lastly, let's take a look at how he thinks compared to the other villians. The other villians kill on the idea of survival instinct or they are being told to. Look at the Androids in the original timeline, they didn't even kill one human! Cell killed/absorbed on survival instinct, he needed to become stronger to survive in battle against the Z Senshi. Frieza, however, being the cold-blooded killer that he is, killed because . . . he . . well, wanted to kill! He throws a Deathbomb at Planet Vegeta, and he calls all of the exploding Saiyans, Saiyan men, woman, and children, he calls them "fireworks", while he laughs so much it looks like it hurts. Look how quickly he kills Dende. No small talk, no compromise, no warning, he just kills a four-year old Namek. To him, it's squashing a useless insect."
"If i've proven any point here, it's that Frieza should be considered the greatest Dragonball Z enemy there is. Even after he died, he left a dark legacy where he had destroyed millions of planets and possibly trillions of helpless people.
