Ever fall in love with someone or even something, and you know that its wrong, or you know you just can’t? Well, that’s what my problem was…and sometimes I believe I still have that same problem. Well, if you haven’t figured it out yet, I fell in love with someone. What’s so wrong with that? Simple. He’s not supposed to be in love with me…or anyone for that matter. I know what you’re thinking; what’s this person talking about?

I’ll start off by telling you a little about myself. My name is Erica Steal. I’m nineteen-years-old, about five feet tall, ice blue eyes and chestnut-brown hair with a few blond highlights. I haven’t started college yet, but I will eventually. I decided that I needed sometime away from schoolwork after I graduated from high school. I got my first job as a volunteer nurse at a martial arts tournament. Wait, you say. If she hasn’t gone to college, how can she be a nurse? Well, I’m not exactly a “nurse.” That’s just what they called us. The coordinators needed people to “fix fighters up” when they got hurt and stuff like that. I wasn’t getting paid or anything, but it was something different to do. Besides, it would’ve given me front row seats to the tournament.

Now, let me tell you about the tournament itself. It’s called the Tenkaichi Budokai, otherwise known as the 25th World’s Martial Arts Tournament. I find martial arts fascinating. The first prize was one million dollars, which if you ask me is a pretty nice reward. Hundreds of helpless men sign up to fight, but only sixteen are chosen to actually participate in the tournament. The expected winner was Hercule, the world’s strongest man. I don’t believe he is, but I’m the minority.

Before anybody was even allowed to try their chances of entering the tournament, they had to come to the First Aid station to get a simple check-up. We had to make sure these people were fit to fight, or they might sue the coordinators if they got hurt. I was impressed by only a few of the fighters. One man was a guy who thought he was a king or something. His hair was black and stood up like a foot high. He was maybe five inches taller than me, but he was super strong. Other than that, most of the men were just losers that thought they had a chance, which I already knew there was no way after that guy with that big hair left.

I know I’m rambling on and on, but now I’ll get to important stuff. I mentioned before I fell in love with this guy. He was a fighter that I had to examine. At first I thought that he was just dressed up to look like a little purple elf or something, but later on I learned that was really him. I met him at the F.A. station, but that wasn’t the last time I “ran” into him. You still might be confused why it’s wrong to love this guy. Well, to tell you the truth, he’s a god…
