The fighters appeared in the same room Kaioshin had been held in before. The room seemed to be deserted.
“Where’s the party?” Goku asked.
“They’re here,” Kaioshin assured them. As Kaioshin promised, Babidi walked from amongst the shadows.
“Welcome back, Kaioshin. I see you wanted to bring an audience to witness the fusing of my most powerful warriors and the beginning of the end of life as you know it!” Babidi signaled for two Majins to approach. He handed each of them an earring.
Kibito looked down at Kaioshin, who had a small slit of a smile on his face. The Majins each placed an earring on the opposite ear from the other and waited. Babidi looked on with pleasure and joy on his face. However, nothing happened. After a few more moments, the smile slowly disintegrated from the evil demon’s face.
“What’s wrong? Why are they not fusing?” He looked at Kaioshin, who’s small slit of a smile turned into a big one. “You tricked me! You little brat!”
“What happened?” Vegeta questioned. “Those weren’t the real earrings?”
Kaioshin didn’t answer Vegeta’s question. “Babidi, this is the beginning of your end.”
Babidi’s anger intensified. A powerful wave of energy exploded from him and he backed away. Every Majin he had appeared in his place. “Destroy them!” He ordered.
The Majins attacked the team of good and the fight began. They all powered up to full strength, and the Z fighters braced themselves for another epic battle. Vegeta and Goku fought two Majins at a time, while the rest fought only one.
As he saw his army being over powered, Babidi sent every single one to fight at the same time. Kaioshin was dodging punches from every angle. He was able to keep up at the moment. So were the others, especially Vegeta who was finding this fight thrilling. It had been a long time since he was fighting to kill.
In about ten minutes, the Majins had been defeated. Though the team of good didn’t get out without a scratch, they were prepared to fight the ringleader.
Babidi clenched his teeth in anger. He didn’t think there was any possible way that his entire Majin army could be defeated. None of this would have happened if it weren’t for Kaioshin. He eyed the short purple skinned god. “I could have sworn all of them were destroyed hundreds of years ago,” he said to himself.
“You were wrong. I was one of three survivors. You should have known that you couldn’t have killed all of us. Now you’ll have to suffer the same fate my people did,” Kaioshin said. He led the attack on the green demon.
Babidi flew back to the other side of the room. He stood on the ground with his arms outstretched before him. Powerful energy beams came from his body sending all the Z fighters into a wall. They all stood back up and sprinted towards their enemy.
Babidi’s only defense was shooting energy at the fighters. It pushed them back, but he was unable to put them down for good. Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan turned super Saiyan, and the others powered up. They all added their energy to form a massive spirit bomb that Goku formed in his hands.
“Babidi,” he said, “you’re evil will no longer harm anything in the universe.” He leaned his arms back and then threw forward the spirit bomb.
Babidi yelled at the top of his lungs as the ball of energy traveled to him. He held out his arms as if to stop it, but it was no use. Because of the evil he possessed, the bomb easily engulfed him, ending his rein of evil for good.
Though the bomb had destroyed the demon Babidi, it had also begun to destroy the space ship everyone was on.
“I think it’s best if we take off,” Kaioshin suggested to the others. He and Kibito transported the other fighters back to Earth as the space ship blew up behind them.

Erica sat at the bottom of a hill. She looked up at the sky to see a small explosion. Oh Kaioshin, I hope you weren’t there, she thought. Her gaze was still on the sky when she saw movement ahead of her. She looked ahead to see a group of shadows walking in her direction. Soon the shadows became people, and in the middle of this group walked the purple god, Kaioshin.
Erica jumped to her feet and started racing to the group. “Kaioshin!” She called out. Kaioshin smiled as he saw her running towards him. Erica jumped into his arms and he held her close while swinging her around in a circle. “Thank God you’re okay,” she said over his shoulder.
“You’re welcome,” Kaioshin replied. She giggled and Kaioshin placed her down on the ground.
“Come on! Let’s see it!” Goku said. Kaioshin and Erica turned to him. “Oh come on, it’s obvious you two like each other.”
Kaioshin laughed and returned his gaze at the girl in front of him. “He’s right. I do like you.” In front of the whole gang, Kaioshin kissed Erica, who, of course, accepted without a fuss.

The next day, all the Z fighters and Erica joined Kaioshin and Kibito. The two people from the other world were about to depart for their own home.
“Thank-you all,” Kaioshin said. “Without your help Babidi would never have been defeated.”
“No problem,” Goku said waving his hand.
“Yeah, glad we could help,” Gohan said.
Kaioshin turned to Piccolo and slightly bowed his head. Piccolo did the same. Then Kaioshin turned to the girl waiting for him. He walked up to her and lifted her hand in his. He raised her hand to his mouth and gently kissed it, looking at her the whole time. Erica smiled and as Kaioshin let go of her hand, she took a step towards him and embraced him with a hug that turned into a kiss.
“I’ll miss you,” she said, a tear escaping her eye. “Are you sure you have to go?”
“Yes. My duty is to watch over the planets. But I promise I’ll come back soon to see you again.”
“That’s a definite promise?”
“Absolutely.” Kaioshin raised his finger and wiped away the tear falling down her cheek. Before stepping away from her, he leaned over and gave her another kiss on her cheek. “Good-bye.”
After hesitating, Erica was finally able to choke out a “Good-bye.” Kaioshin turned and walked over to Kibito, who was waiting.
“Thank-you again, my friends,” Kaioshin said, bowing to all of them. Waved to Erica one last time and then the two disappeared.
The Z fighters started walking back to their hotel rooms, but Erica stayed in the same place. She looked up at the sky and wiped away another tear. “I love you, Kaioshin,” she said. “I do hope we’ll meet again.”
